This was my first visit to Onyx Salon. I have to say I was very impressed, my appt was with Erica to have my hair braided into Marley braids. She was very professional. She asked if my hair needed washing and also asked if I wanted a water. She was extremely nice. My braids look wonderful and I will be making another appt with her real soon ( as soon as I need a touch-up) Thank You Erica for a wonderful experience…

I was given a gift certificate to have my nails done. It took a while to get an appointment set up, then when it came closer to the time of the appointment, the person I had my appointment with had to cancel – but note it was for a very good reason so I didn’t have any issue with that. Since then though I have been trying to reach her unsuccessfully. I even called the direct line to confirm that she still works there. They said she did, and that they would have her call me. This is all happening over a number of months, not days. I tried her cell phone again thinking she had called and I was unable to answer. So I stressed that she should leave a message, but it’s been a couple of weeks since that call and I have no messages. I would rather not go at this point, and I feel bad that the person who purchased the gift card paid money for no service. I have heard good things about this company and this nail tech so it’s a shame it’s come to this.
