The first time I had an idea of what I wanted, told her my thoughts and she did her thing and did an amazing job. She explained what she was doing/how she decided what she was going to do. This was really helpful as I’m new to getting my hair colored so now in the future I know what to ask for.The place itself is beautiful and very clean! Loved it here. Emma has done my hair twice and both times did a phenomenal job! The first time I had an idea of what I wanted, told her my thoughts and she did her thing and did an amazing job. She explained what she was doing/how she decided what she was going to do. This was really helpful as I’m new to getting my hair colored so now in the future I know what to ask for.

She has a ton of experience, including curly hair, and is very detailed. She spends time ensuring she understood what I was looking for in a cut/color every visit, and kept notes of colors used for future reference. She’s taken me through phases of very long hair to a lob, many layers to a more blunt cut, and I’ve loved the cut every time. Claire also gives a fantastic head massage with your wash. She has a ton of experience, including curly hair, and is very detailed. I cannot recommend Salon One Six One enough! The beautiful space, the knowledgeable staff, the quality products, and the fantastic services–everything about your experience here will be top notch. Charlie is the best stylist I have ever had. For the first time in my life, he helped me to truly understand my hair.
