Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueMyLinh Foss has been cutting my hair cut for 16 years. She told me this the last time I went to get a haircut, my second one since the pandemic started. My client relationship with her is one of the longest in my whole life. (I’ve happily given my money as a customer to Trader Joe’s for three years longer than I have given my money to MyLinh for her valuable services.) She has been helping me feel beautiful through many life changes. She also recently started cutting my son’s hair. Like me, he doesn’t want to go anywhere else. MyLinh is an important part of my life. She has bolstered my confidence by showing me how to choose and apply makeup and by suggesting that she trim my eyebrows. She offers me encouragement as I try to become an entrepreneur. She has been a friend and a confident, and I value her and her services so much. She is a model of a businesswoman and a moral person. She cares deeply about doing a good job for her clients. It’s part of who she is. Now she has opened a space all of her own in “Salon One” at 1365 Foothill Blvd. in La Canada. She leases the entire shop for herself, and someday she will offer a space to someone who does nails as well. She completely redesigned the space after she signed the lease. It is a comfortable, quiet place filled with her impeccable taste and vibrant artistic energy. She made all of the artwork that hangs on the walls. She chose the colors of the walls. She carefully selected a contractor to configure the space to her specifications. What emerged is a place so many of her clients feel comfortable going to, even during a pandemic. When government safety regulations mandated that hair could only be cut outside, MyLinh made a makeshift station in her little semi-shaded and private green space behind the shop and even braved sunburn and bug bites cutting and styling hair in the summer heat. I simply cannot sing MyLinh’s praises more highly. I am so thankful not only to be able to have her professional services but to also have enjoyed her friendship for so many years.
