My first time at the salon was a nice experience, and I was so glad to have Karen S as my stylist. She was very kind and gentle with my hair, and provided really great insight on what I needed to improve. I would recommend you to ask for her because she was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was lovely with clean interior and friendly workers, would visit soon!

I decided it was time to bleach and color my hair again after over two years since I last got work done. I recently moved back to SoCal so had to search for a new salon. Looked through Salon ONE 9’s Instagram and loved their work! I emailed for an appointment and quickly got a reply asking for current hair photos + hair history for a virtual consultation. Within a couple of hours I was confirmed.

The communication I received while setting up my own appointment was indeed very courteous and kind.Everyone in the salon was firmly masked, there were no noses slipping out lol. They had good distancing going on so I felt able to relax and actually enjoy my haircut experience. Jessica cut my hair and it was a pleasure to meet her! She was sweet and fun and I had fun talking with her while she did my hair. She gave me an amazing head massage at the bowl- omg what a treat. Really made the whole experience feel more luxurious, like how time at the salon used to feel before Covid.My haircut turned out beautifully. Jessica gave me exactly the color I wanted. It looks natural and pretty. She gave me product recommendations and tips on how to style my hair so that it looks great with minimal effort. We chopped off around 6-7 inches and it felt so good! Bye bye dead ends. After the haircut and the products Jessica used on my hair, my hair feels so healthy! I came into the salon feeling like a bedraggled old cat. It had been close to two years (two years!) since my last haircut. But now, I feel beautiful again 🙂 Thank you Jessica and Salon One 9. I came here hoping to get a nice new hair cut but what I got back was horrible. My hair was cut way to short and one side of my head has more hair than the other. The ends are uneven and don’t match at all. Don’t get your hair cut here. I would show pictures but I am so embarrassed I can’t.

I have been coming to this salon for years, and it’s the best one I’ve been to —EVER. I have very thick, curly/wavy hair that always seems to be unmanageable. I’ve been to countless stylists and salons where I’ve firstly asked, “can you cut my hair type?” The answer is always yes, but the results showed otherwise. Salon One 9 is the ONLY place that has shown amazing results after saying yes, and they always exceed my expectations. Joanna is my go-to for Brazilian blowouts, balayage, and haircuts. She is so nice and patient and takes her time with each customer. There’s no sense of urgency for the sake of getting clients in and out of her chair as quickly as possible, which is such a relief cause I know I’m being taken care of. She not only tells you the process of what will be happening during your appt, but along the way she teaches you how to take care of your hair and suggests the right products. You can tell that the entire team at this salon is always learning about the industry and about hair in general. They are welcoming, passionate, and knowledgeable stylists and colorists. I always leave the salon feeling like every cent is worth the time and results, and I’ll continue coming back here forever.
