Kegan is amazing! I went in for highlights and a cut and am so happy with the results! Kegan is so nice and easy to talk to. The salon is beautiful and I could see that everything was being properly sanitized. If you’re looking for a good salon in Seaside I fully recommend Salon on Broadway.

I was really disappointed with this salon; it had such great reviews. I scheduled a ‘cut and color,’ and wrote in the appointment notes what color I wanted. When I showed up, Kegan told me that he doesn’t usually read the appointment notes until right before an appointment. He had no idea that I wanted my hair a bright color, so he didn’t have the dye for it. The ‘cut and color’ is also apparently only for natural colors, which is not explained on the site. So I just had him cut my hair. I showed him pictures of what I wanted, and did my best to explain, and he said he could do it. It turned out nothing like what I wanted, and people have been telling me it looks choppy. I gave up and just told him it was fine so that I could leave. To his credit, he was polite, and he only charged me $20. Overall, waste of my time and money. I won’t be going back

I gave Keegan another try, but he must have been having a bad day. He was not very understanding to what I wanted and I left very frustrated because my bangs were sooo short. I didn’t see this while he was cutting because I didn’t have my glasses on! I look terrible! When I shared this with him he just made excuses that he can’t please everyone! Very poor customer service attitude…Be careful.

Here watching my wife get her hair cut, I really appreciate how thoroughly the hairdresser (Keegan) discussed and planned with my wife. It was really nice to have a professional opinion on what would look good, and he was right. I expect most people don’t have a strong opinion on their haircut and having some feedback really helps. Wife was nervous about this for a while as it’s been a year at least since her last haircut but it’s been an easygoing experience.

I went for color correction and Keegan said he could do that. I wanted my platinum high lights to show as a brown toner had been applied by another hair colorist and completely taken away my platinum highlights. Keegan tried some new product that he claimed was a miracle product and applied it all over my hair and he turned my hair dark red! My hair was so fried by what he did, I was told by specialty color repair after they viewed my hair that the curl and wave I had had might never come back plus all my hair might all fall out from what Keegan had done to me! Keegan would not tell me, when asked, what that miracle product was called. After making my hair worse than when I started, he said that the platinum would be put back on the next visit. Unfortunately, shortly thereafter, I received a text (in unintelligible language) at 5:30 a.m. from Kegan that he no longer wanted to do my hair. After numerous attempts at contact I referred him to the licensing board for unprofessional conduct. After months and almost $1,000 my hair is almost fixed.
