Critical: ProfessionalismI called this salon to see what services they offer and was immediately put on hold. I was on hold for more than 10 minutes. I hung up and called back and the receptionist/stylist was giggling saying , “Oops, I forgot”. I have never been to this place of business, but first impressions go a long way. This is reflective of many of the Black weave salons in the Maryland area. Many of them are very unprofessional with no respect of the customer’s time. I had stylist Kim install my crochet style. She was very gentle and catered to the needs of my hair. Some stylist/Braiders braid too tightly without thinking about the clients comfort (or edges). Kim was/is a breath of fresh air and made sure that I was comfortable throughout my experience. I will most certainly be going back.

Ms. Kim and Mr. Barry are so excellent at what they do. They are honest, and hard working people who have no issues with helping others look their best at all times. From the moment that I met them, I was sold on their capabilities. They are for sure GOD sent, and I would refer anyone to them… please come to The Salon Obessions so you can share the same exact experience I did, and will continue to do so.

Called last minute on a Sunday, and they got me in quickly for just a blowout on my braidless sew-in. I had my sew in done by someone else and usually hair stylists are super picky about going over someone else’s work…but not this salon! The owner was super sweet and did an amazing job getting me ready for the Wizards game later that night and for a reasonable price. Thanks again!
