I found a deal on Groupon and thought will give it a try. As I walked in everyone was just staring no smiling no welcoming attitude. I was little skeptical but I had to go bcos I already bought the coupon. I met this sweet hair stylist Darryl and he was awesome. I just loved my haircut and he was explaining me how I can style my hair post the cut. He didn’t push me to buy any products, he made sure he explained what he is doing on my hair. I loved my hair cut and the 4 stars are just for Darryl!!!

I’ve been going to this salon since it opened. In all the dozens, likely hundreds, of times I’ve been there, I have never seen anyone ever display any behavior anything short of respectable. I know firsthand how inclusive the staff is. The idea that someone there showed prejudice doesn’t seem possible.

I asked for long layers but I got a choppy uneven and unblended layered cut. I called and left 3 messages for the salon manager and never received a call back. I wanted to email the owner with pictures of the cut but the receptionist refused to provide their contact information. Please retrain your stylist on cutting techniques. Layers should be even and well blended. Thanks.

I had my first haircut here when I was a few months old. Now I’m in my mid twenties. The friendliness and the care here is always top notch. I trust anyone of the hair stylists here to do my hair. I have thick and extremely curly hair and they always take care of it the proper way. My family recently moved a few years ago from the area. Every few months I will specifically drive about 45 minutes just to get my hair done here at Salon NV!

This place came highly recommended and I was very excited to try them out. I visited the place for a haircut and single process color. From the get-go, the beautician tending me seemed very confused when she greeted me and when I explained the haircut I was looking for. I was happy with my hair cut at the end, but I was massively disappointed with the hair color. When I showed her a picture of the hair color I was looking for, she quickly said she knows what I am looking for and without any confirmation prepared and applied the color. The end result was nowhere close to what I had asked for and definitely nothing like the picture I showed her. On top of everything going wrong with the hair color, she got hair color all over my shirt and was unapologetic about it too. Very disappointing.
