I lived in Queens and moved out here almost 20 years ago. I continued going to my hair stylist and colorist even though I had to drive 40 plus miles. Hair stylists are a very personal choice and it is not easy to find the right one. Well no more! I found Salon Notre. The owner Antoneitte is hands down the best colorist I’ve ever had. She has been doing it for decades and she is so experienced that when mixing colors she is able to do it from memory. Or she just knows what mixes with what. Like an artist mixing colors for their palette. Its fun to watch. The hair stylists are also awesome. It took a lot for me to leave my place. I did try other hair salons where I live because believe me I didn’t want to travel, especially when you have a family. I’m glad I found Salon Notre. I highly recommend.

I had such a beautiful experience at Salon Notre. This was my first visit and had my curly hair cut by Bita. She is so caring, meticulous, and ready to offer any input or advice on the kind of haircut you should get. I needed a trim and wanted more volume and she gave me that and more!! She was so sweet throughout the whole process and left me feeling so happy with my new look. I’d highly recommend her to anyone!!

Bita has been doing my color, highlights, cut, and weekly blowouts for well over a year. I never leave disappointed. I am constantly receiving compliments on both my color and style. For my daughter’s wedding she did my hair, the mother of the groom, and many of my out-of-town guests. They were all THRILLED with the results. I never have to explain how I want my hair done — she just knows how to make the style look great and current. Salon Notre has a huge parking lot — park right in the front. Great vibe inside — music, conversation, and everyone is super friendly. Very reasonable prices too!! Antoinette, the owner of Salon Notre is a magician with color, she knows her trade well and uses high and quality products. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that I am satisfied with my color and she’s always up to date. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my color and that’s why I’ve been with her for so many years. Her salon is beautiful, her staff members are skilled and I always get taken for my appointments on time. Salon Notre truly cares about their clients and treats them as real people and not just appointments. I wouldn’t trust any other salon with my hair!

What a lovely Salon with a great attentive staff. It was fun to watch the consultation that the colourist (aka the owner) and the Stylist had when deciding my new look. And the results… Well let’s just say I felt and looked beautiful and younger too! That’s the best part and I still do. I’ve received so many compliments. Critical: QualityI got a Groupon and went there for a blow out. I told Bita my Hair had oil prior to hairwash. Long story short, after the blow dry was done my hair was still so oily and by the time I reached home the blow dry was all gone and I had to wash my hair again after I got home and go to another stylist. Sad part is I have taken a Groupon for 3 blowouts and I still have two remaining. Hopefully they will do do better job next time after reading my review.I got a Groupon and went there for a blow out. I am someone who has thick but shorter than medium length hair. The hair stylist charged me and my little sister $10 extra EACH when we both have not long hair. ALSO it was the worst blow dry my sister has ever had. Mine was somewhat better but still nothing amazing. It was extremely underwhelming. I was excited for this blow out experience and I left feeling upset. I have never left a negative review for anything in my life before let alone a review but this was just an experience I had to share.

I bought a Groupon for a Keratin Treatment. My hair is generally very thick, frizzy and curly, so it really needed something to smooth it and oils weren’t working. The salon was very nice and the staff pleasant, however, I figured at the price of the treatment that it would be without harmful chemicals. I know the chemical-free treatments don’t last quite as long, but they’re better for your health in the long run. Regardless, the treatment came out rather well and the salon staff was nice. Good experience overall. Would go again if they had a deal. It’s a little pricey, but they seem to have quite a bit of regular clientel. Cute place, pleasant staff, nice atmosphere.

Alyssa has done a regular blowout, Keratin treatment and two haircuts and I can honestly say she’s amazing. I always just let her do what she thinks is best when she cuts my hair and I can honestly say I’ve been happy both times. The salon is really trendy and we’ll decorated. Feels like a high end NYC salon with very reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend everyone to try this place!!
