It had been four years since my last hair cut and I was hoping for a healthy, fresh look, as well as some hair routine advice. Anna helped me decide on length and how to frame my face- I brought a reference pic and it turned out exactly how I wanted! I didn’t know some of the questions to ask, and Anna helped me with that- for instance, did I want to be able to pull the hair by my face back behind my ear still? I wouldn’t have thought of that, having had long hair my whole life. I was nervous about how it would look to cut off 10+ inches but I know I made the right choice on a salon, because I am 100% happier with it than I even expected. Anna helped me with product choice- which has given me soft hair instead of the crunchy feel I had been used to- and it was easy to pick some product up on the way out. I must add that I picked Salon Nefisa based on the reviews here, which were on point- I wanted to make sure to get a good cut for upcoming business events! Really happy with the haircut I received here- 10+ inches. Anna did a wonderful job! It had been four years since my last hair cut and I was hoping for a healthy, fresh look, as well as some hair routine advice. I am a current student at Mizzou and have come a long way from Texas in search of a great university and a hair salon. Unfortunately, I didn’t find that experience at Sofia Nefisa salon. As much as I love my hairstylist’s personality, her performance with my hair was very mediocre. The color used caused hair breakage, and I asked for brunette, and the color came out red. Furthermore, the salon I went to today said she receives a lot of former customers from this hair salon due to breakage from the hair dye being used. So I thought I would share a picture of my results from the hair dye used at this salon. As you can see, I have a lot of breakage in my hair, and the coloring is very uneven. I hope this review is not mistaken for being mean, but to inform this salon so better results can be produced for future clients.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND RYANN! She spent 5+ hours, unscheduled, on my hair and I am amazed by the results. I had never had my hair colored before and she was SO kind, supportive, and positive. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and worked with me on fitting my hair into my lifestyle. Could not recommend more. She deserves 10 stars!

Shelby is absolutely incredible! She worked with be before my wedding to help make my hair more healthy and shiny for the big day. On wedding day she did my hair and makeup as well as other members of my bridal party. She was incredibly patient and kind as my nerves started to build throughout the day and she made me feel more beautiful than ever! I highly recommend Shelby for all your hair and makeup needs!

I brought my niece and her best friend to Salon Nefisa for pedis, event hair and makeup, as they prepared for their SWEET 16 party, and I couldn’t have been happier! The staff at Nefisa made the entire day so special for my girls, and the results were absolutely stunning! The price of the entire day of beauty was about HALF of what I was expecting to pay. I couldn’t have asked for a better salon for my niece and her friend’s special day. I’m already planning to bring them back for prom! Thank you so much Nefisa! You guys are phenomenal!

Salon Nefisa is, by far, the best in Columbia. Ryann is my favorite stylist and knocks it out of the park every time. The environment is conducive to anyone and everyone. Their strict cancellation policy within 24 hours truly is ‘strict’. I called 20 hours before my scheduled appointment because I have a cold, not COVID. Not only will they not allow me to come in (with proof of a negative COVID test), they’re still charging me $133 since it’s less than 24 hours (by 4 hours). Don’t get me wrong, I loved how they did my hair, but that much money is excessive.

Megan worked a miracle with my hair! I am obsessed with it! My hair feels so light and healthy, and it looks beautiful too. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I will absolutely be coming here for my hair from now on . I would 110% recommend Salon Nefisa.
