Wasn’t going to post this but the Owner absolutely chopped my hair off. Asked for a “curly cut” and from all the videos I’ve seen of different techniques she did nothing I’ve ever seen before and just started chopping… I just wanted a trim and layers. Can’t even wear my hair straight from how bad this haircut was. I now have a mullet. She chopped the whole front of my hair off and left just at the nape of my neck long?? It will take me months to a year to get back to what my hair was before. Absolutely unacceptable I’m devastated. Would never ever return here. Whole experience was awful she took me 30 minutes late never apologized, greeted me or introduced herself. She also had 2 other clients the same appointment time as me? So she just stuck me under the dryer for an hour while she did other clients instead of diffusing my hair which is included in the service. Very very angry that I thought I was trusting the right person and got done so so dirty. Would never recommend this place to anyone

I had a great first experience with Mary Luz, she did a great job with my highlights, layers and achieved to make the perfect color. But let’s just say that the second time around, it wasn’t as great. I wanted to bring up my highlights to my roots but instead of that she just made them all messy and splotchy. There are some areas in my head where there is only color in my roots or only color in the middle. I’m my first appointment I made it clear that I wanted to make it easily distinguishable between my CHUNKY highlights and my real hair, this time it was like she didn’t care and just added it anywhere. On top of that my highlights were originally a beige blonde and she literally toned my hair into a caramel brown color, WHICH WAS NOT AT ALL WHAT I WANTED. Matter fact I wish it would have been lighter that the original. And I know everyone makes mistakes and she could have forgotten, but it is her job as a hairdresser to make everything clear and ask questions so that the client is at peace. Also the cut she gave me (which was only supposed to clean up my layers) look’s choppy. Lastly to make everything “better” I was charged a whopping $206 dollars, and listen I do not mind paying for my hair AT ALL, I did it the first time. My issue was that I payed for something that I did not want. I really appreciate her trying, but this was not her best work and I’m super upset.

I had my first curly cut yesterday with Maryluz who was professional and highly knowledgeable. I arrived a bit early, was seen right away, and was out within a reasonable time. I was informed on how to maintain the style and i’ll definitely be back for future appointments. I was very pleased with all aspects of the appointment and my hair looks great!

I went to Maryluz as a trusted adviser to perform the Apple Stem Botox hair treatment. Maryluz was prompt and able to perform the service, knowing how picky I am about my hair and the look I wanted, she took her time in explaining the benefits and each step along the way. One of the things I appreciate about the way this salon works is that you are with the same stylist the whole way through. I was very pleased with the botox treatment and my results. I have now recommended the same service to other friends and family and will be going back!

I drove an hour and some change to get to this appointment , I was very excited because I want to start my curly hair journey , when I got there apparently they were backed up because I waited an hour and a half exactly to get my hair washed.. the lady put me under a hair dryer – which dried my whole head.. after I came out of the hair dryer she just shook my hair and that’s it. She didn’t use the diffuser , which I was looking forward to. She said my bangs were too long to have curly bangs.. which I’ve scrunch them before and they have shrunk before. There was absolutely no effort put into my hair. And it was my first time. I just recently started finger coiling my own hair and diffusing it, so far I love it but I’m looking to learn more and have the experience how they do it at a salon. Definitely wasn’t a good experience here and I was just bombed out how everything turned out.

I went yesterday to this hair salon and wanted to transition from relaxed damaged hair to a curly and natural look. Amanda took care of me and it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had regarding to my hair. She was very patient and answered to every single question I had about this huge change. I had a big chop but my hair stylist made me feel very comfortable about my decision. I will definitely go back! Super recommended!

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, ValueI paid a deposit of $50 for an appointment at 10am. The stylist did not even show up til 10:45. She was bleaching my hair for over 4 hours! It should not take that long. On top of that she persuaded me into the Olaplex treatment which is listed for $30, but when I was paying she charged me $90!!! That is 3x the price of what they are charging, she did not explain to me what she was charging me for. The olaplaex repair bottle itself isn’t that much. I was there for a whole 9 hours! Absolutely unprofessional establishment that leave “untrained” individuals to answer the phone and create scheduling conflicts. Got out of work an hour early for my appointment only for them to say that they wouldn’t do my cut because it’s too late already when the person I spoke to on the phone told me that I was scheduled for that specific time, I had proof and all.
