Critical: Quality, ValueHolly did a great job the first few times with a weave and cut. But the third time I had her do an all over platinum, it turned out orange and purple and she covered it with toner. Total mess, and I was charged $125. She did not offer to fix it, but suggested I see another stylist. She didn’t write down the “recipe” she had first used on my hair, and it was a disaster when I went back.Then I tried Alondra. The weave was great, but she hardly styled it, used one product, did not do the texturizing at the root, and I asked for curtain bangs. I got chopped pieces of 3 different length of bangs. She charged me $195. I can’t dare ask her to fix it, or get the same “any of our stylists can help you”, and they want to charge more for the screw up. I can go to Super Cuts and get better bangs than what she did. I HAD curtain bangs when I entered the salon. I just needed them trimmed. I got three different lengths in weird places, which I didn’t notice until I got home because it was hardly styled and it took 4 hours for her to do the work, which I don’t usually spend more than 2.5 at Urban Beauty in Bountiful, or The Boutique Salon in Draper.This salon uses the name of Lydia, the former owner, who most likely was a fantastic stylist. However, this salon thinks that because it’s located in Holladay, UT, they can charge outrageous prices, as if the quality of work was close to celebrity work. Um…NO. I wouldn’t pay any of these stylists more than $75 for any service.The place is somewhat tacky. They are thankfully moving to Murray! I will NEVER go to this salon again. I am NOT paying that much money for stylists to live above their talent level.I can name two other stylists who are 100% better, and they have NEVER charged me more than $100 for the same services.Service: HairstylingHolly did a great job the first few times with a weave and cut. I have lived in 3 major cities and had access to an abundance of some amazing hair stylists with a great deal of talent. So I am quite familiar with what good color should look like. When I moved to Salt Lake City, I had to find someone new so I went onto “Nextdoor” and found wonderful reviews for Holly and so I booked an appointment with her for full blonde highlights. It almost took my breathe away when I saw the results.I came in with a photo and she matched it perfectly. The blonde colors were gorgeous and I received many complements afterwards! She is extremely talented and such a nice person as well. I must add she really does listen to the customer and she has great attention to detail. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars! I have lived in 3 major cities and had access to an abundance of some amazing hair stylists with a great deal of talent. So I am quite familiar with what good color should look like.
