The atmosphere is so relaxing and calm, yet fun and exciting all at the same time 🙂 Abbey has done my hair off and on for years (I don’t know why I ever leave her ); and she is so so talented! If you are not getting pampered at Salon Lux you are missing out. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Beyond Abbey being the only person on this earth I will let even touch my hair, because she is so amazing, talented & has so much knowledge in the hair dept. The whole vibe when you walk into Salon Lux is just relaxing, welcoming, clean, organized & just the place to be when you want that ME time. Abbey hand-picked all the girls that work for her, they are super friendly & talented in all area as well.

This salon is extremely overrated. Yes the space is gorgeous.. Well done to the owner Abby! I chose a stylist based upon her expertise. I did not choose a stylist to have her assistant do my hair while I had little to no interaction as she gave all of her attention to another client. I personally have never gone to a salon with so many rules (punctuality, cancellations, refunds..) This is Troy OH not NYC! I waited over 40 minutes and was literally there for over 4 hours for a simple balayage, no cut & I was so frustrated by the time I left that I didn’t even let her assistant style my hair. ps.. I was told her high school assistant was there for scheduling, possibly rinsing my hair but would basically not be the one doing my hair which was not true because she had her put the toner on. Half was thru drying me, she decided to look over and noticed my hair & realized I would have to go back under the water for more toner. When I came home and until I had an actual stylist redo my hair, I had an orange brassy spot one one side of my head where the 2nd time the assistant did not properly tone my hair. I was polite while there. However I later sent her a message regarding my visit (still polite) but explained how upset I was. She responded with a slew of excuses. Gave me a discount and said we were not the right fit. I have only once in my life ever contacted a stylist with a complaint over my hair and generally speaking they ask you to come back in to fix the issue. I told her not to worry I had no intentions of returning. So before you go to this salon, think twice. It is a very high priced small town salon that is not everything is “looks” like it will deliver! ⭐️⭐️ Is the best I can do. I will pay the price when they can deliver. This stylist cannot & did not deliver.
