Salon Lola was started on April 1st, 2009 inside the Vintage Salon and Spa Studios. The name was inspired by my English bulldog, Lola. Back in Spain, my native country, the name Lola is very feminine and girly. I wanted to create my own place to give my clients the best I have to offer, in a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I offer everything from cut, color and styling to French Balayage Call for more info.

Marilo is such a talented hairstylist! I have been seeing her for almost two years and am so grateful I came across her site when I did. My hair was so damaged after going to another salon and Marilo helped my hair become so much more healthier. I get my balayage done by her and it is so well blended and the low lights and the color are so so gorgeous. I notice that my balayage looks so beautiful when my hair is straightened, curled, and natural since it is so well blended. She is truly an artist who views your hair as a canvas. She knows how to pick the right shade of color for your skin tone (which was something important to me since I am not Caucasian) and knows what’s flattering for you. Also she cuts hair wonderful as well. She did my curtain bangs and I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. I only trust her with my hair and will continue to see her. I have attached a photo of my balayage that was done by her 4 months ago and it still looks so wonderful. I am so grateful for Marilo!

Not a good experience at all. Her personality is extremely abrasive. She is extremely rude, belittling, and dismissive. When I shared what I wanted with my hair I was cut off several times, told “no” and that my hair currently looked “bad.” I always appreciate honesty, however she was definitely just being mean. I was told I had a large forehead and when I was speaking was told to shut up. Do not go here- there are far better options in the area with people much kinder.

Stay away from Marilo at Salon Lola! Her chairside manner is rude and abrasive! This was my 1st time here…she was able to get me in within a half hour claiming she had a cancelation!! After the encounter I had with her I’m guessing she is desperate for clients and that’s how I got in right away!! She won’t give the client what they want and will only do what she’s wants on your head and then charges top dollar!! NO THANK YOU…..I’m going somewhere I will be treated with respect and kindness….not somewhere where she literally walks you out the front door yelling at you!! STAY AWAY PEOPLE!! I wish i could give negative stars!!

I wish I could give Salon Lola more stars! Marilo is the absolute best! The first time I went to her, I was nervous and did not want to cut much of my hair. She listened to my needs, and understood my fear. She made me feel so comfortable and cut my hair exactly how I asked for it. This time around, I definitely needed a more drastic cut since my hair was past my waist and very damaged. She cut exactly how much I asked, and made it look even better than I imagined!
