I enjoyed my appointment with Jennifer Cheek overall and I would recommend her cutting and washing services as well as her coloring and styling services. I would predominantly recommend her styling and dying for clients with 1-3c hair and clients with treated hair textures. For cutting, people should be lining up out the door. She’s not a barber, but her scissor work is great.

I had a 4pm appointment with Leslie West in Salon 20 at Salon Lofts Weston Corners. Since it was my first time wasn’t sure whether to sit in the seating area out front or to go directly to Loft 20. So, I decided to go directly to Loft 20 but didn’t see anyone there. This was exactly at my Appointment time. I went back to the seating area at the entrance and asked someone if you are required to check in. The woman I asked said she didn’t think so. So I went back to Loft 20. Still seeing no one I asked the stylist across from Leslie if she knew Leslie. She pointed me around the corner to a separate entrance to Loft 20. I looked in and Leslie had a woman in her chair getting a dye job. Looked like it was going to take awhile so went and sat back down in seating area out front. I was waiting for either the woman getting a dye to leave or for Leslie to come great me. 15 minutes later neither happened. This was going to make me late for a business call so I cancelled the appointment. Leslie then sent me an email saying “Sorry you couldn’t make your appointment” and saying I’ve been charged $35 dollars. I’m disputing the charge of course.
