I had made an appointment for my daughter at 5:30 with Ingrid Russell. I confirmed this appointment, which should mean to the stylist that you will be there correct.. I walked around to her area and I couldn’t believe she had taken another client. She didn’t even give us a chance to show up!! I should of left, but my daughter had been waiting for this day. She did not even match the haircut to the picture. She cut my daughters hair so short and her bangs are uneven and to short. My daughter was crying because it didn’t look like the picture. I had to go home and try to restyle it for her. She charged 97 dollars and I don’t mind paying at all if the cut is right. I also got a ticket because we didn’t get out of there until 7:30 or 8:00.

Critical: ProfessionalismI would not recommend going to Stephanie Young. She charges upwards of 50% greater than posted prices and then states her online prices are “old” and she has not updated them since 2017.I have never paid $250 for a highlight and cut and get my hair done often. Her site advertises $130 to $155 when you book the appointment but she will charge whatever she wants. Very unprofessional and false advertisement. If you own a business you should keep your prices up to date if you want to book clients. She then told me I couldn’t get a partial refund (was asking her to meet me in the middle) because I took her time but she ate lunch during my session and had her back to me texting on her phone most of the time. Corinne was recommended to me by my mother. I made the appt online and because of a family emergency I was unable to keep my appointment. I cancelled online and never heard back from Corinne to reschedule. My mother used her services again and Corinne cancelled the day of due to an “emergency”. We completely understood. Today my mother shows up and Corinne is doing another persons hair. My mother is confused and explains that she made an appt online. Corinne asked her if she got a confirmation. My mother explained she didn’t know a confirmation email was required. Corinne then preceded to scold my mother for cancelling on her once and her daughter (me). My mother explained corinne had cancelled her appt with her THE DAY OF to her. Corinne then said, “I’m getting a bad vibe from you and your daughter and we’re a bad fit.” Then shut the door on her.

Critical: QualityI’m a little disappointed. First the loft concept was a bit confusing but I made my way to the loft that I was scheduled to go to. When I got there the door was locked, not a problem. I sat and waited for my hairdresser to arrive. 10 minutes pass my scheduled time so I text her to make sure I’m in the right spot, no response. 30 minutes pass and I call her to see where she is, no response. I work in the service industry so I understand how crazy some complaints can be but I only get one day off a week and I really needed to get my hair done before my friends wedding and I’m just upset that that couldn’t happen. And that I wasted 45 minutes of my off day waiting for someone who never showed or had the decency to tell me why. I’m sure its just this one particular hairdresser and not the other lofts but I will not be giving this location a second chance. I’ll go somewhere where theres a hostess who can actually greet me and tell me whats going on.I’m a little disappointed. I saw Alexis Paris and she was awesome! I had been cutting my own hair for several years and my ends needed some definite TLC, and she was just what the doctor ordered. She was super sweet and listened to all my concerns, and my hair looks great! Will definitely be returning.

Beautiful place My nail stylist has a studio there. Very well maintained along with complete professionalism. Parking is horrible due to ongoing construction so come at least 15 minutes early.

I got my appointment rescheduled TWICE by Alexa just hours before the appointment for the same original one. The first time she said it was a family emergency so I was completely understanding and only requested she let me know when her next availability was for the service I requested. No response. So I rescheduled it myself and put a note that this was a rescheduled appointment. Today she messaged me 3 hours before the appointment stating she needs to take her dog to the vet and therefore reschedule. Sorry, but I’m not going to reschedule again just to get it cancelled again.

I had an appointment with Stephanie Young for a women’s cut yesterday. She was shockingly unprofessional and the haircut was mediocre at best – DEFINITELY not worth $70. She actually stopped in the middle of cutting my hair and started texting for what became a ridiculous amount of time. This location of Salon Lofts is easy to get to, not far off of I70. Parking availability, particularly if you need handicapped parking, is difficult to come by at times. Saturday mornings can go either way, Friday night wasn’t a problem, not sure about weeknights or days. The entrance is well-marked, and the public areas are clean and neat. There is a public restroom that is very nice. There’s several salon-style services offered here and they have a great website where you can check them out!
