Darius made a recommendation to add highlights to my hair. I’ve never colored my hair before so I was a little nervous but he did an amazing job!! His recommendation was right on point. Critical: QualityI scheduled a balayage appointment with a stylist, who texted me the night before saying that she had a conflict. She referred me to another stylist, and that stylist confirmed she could do the balayage. It was supposed to be subtle, but I left with incredibly brassy hair that is not at all a balayage. Looking on her page, she doesn’t even offer it herself. I showed another hairstylist, and she told me it was overprocessed and done incorrectly. Balayage is supposed to be painted, this was foiled then lightened. My naturally curly hair is now frizzy and extremely dry, to the point where it hardly curls. During the process, the stylist made a comment about wishing she had someone to experiment on, which immediately made me nervous. I am now having to get my hair completely redone and back to brunette somewhere else. On top of all this, the stylist never responded to my text where I requested a refund. I scheduled a balayage appointment with a stylist, who texted me the night before saying that she had a conflict. She referred me to another stylist, and that stylist confirmed she could do the balayage. It was supposed to be subtle, but I left with incredibly brassy hair that is not at all a balayage.
