Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueSo i will give you a little background. My hair is not in the best of shape as its colored regularly and was highlighted numerous times. I wouldnt say my hair is damaged but definitely has split ends amd dryness on the last 4 inches or so. I originally went to Lynda’s salon because i wanted to have my hair done prior to my birthday and that place was recommended to me by a friend. I walked in and see mostly older clientele with short, easy to deal with hair. I meet Irene and immediately she doesnt look happy. I sit in her chair and at first we discuss price and everything is going as planned. Then i say i need a toner and she said they dont do toners and she says i would need to cut off 6 or so inches before she would highlight my hair and said i wouldn’t be happy. She said i cant help you and i left…… I googled salons near the area and found j elle. Lauren answered the phone and i told her im interested in bayalage/highlights and she said stop by to assess my hair. I did. I was met by Marci, who is a doll, and told me what days shes available. Never once did i get the sense of being pushed out or that my hair couldnt take the bleach. My appt was scheduled today and i am so pleased. My hair looks and feels amazing. She did such an amazing job..the process took 4 hours and she wasnt one of those stylists that uses higher volume to speed up the bleaching process…. I had no breakage and she was so gentle with my brushing and blow drying. I am so happy and am glad i got turned away by the other place.
