I called and made an appointment today for 1:15. I told the receptionist I needed a talented hair cutter. Receptionist assured me she put me with a ” medium” stylist who was very good. I arrived and my stylist came to greet me and took me to my chair. Once.there I showed her a picture of the haircut I wanted. She exclaimed she was sorry but didnt do pixie haircuts and she would go to reception to see if there was anyone available to cut my hair. Only thing she could offer me was an hour wait and $30 extra dollars for a “senior stylist” . So my $42 service turned into $72. This was not acceptable to me so i attempted to get appts. on 3 different dates in November. Receptionist could not accommodate me on any of the 3 days I had requested. What is going on here? What a lack of professionalism and poor customer service. Salon hype…Age discrimination? I don’t know but salon fail would be a better name.

I have naturally dark hair and I am currently blonde. She always takes the time to explain the process to me and how we an achieve the look I want without severly damaging my hair. I have been going to Salon Hype for years! The inside is always clean and it is very trendy looking. It is a nice escape for a little to pamper yourself with water, tea and coffee available. I let it all grow out over quarantine which I had never done before and Anna was able to help me pick out how I wanted it styled which was a huge help and I have not looked back since.
