I recently moved back to Connecticut after residing in Seattle for nearly 13 years and was searching for a comparable salon from my Seattle high end salon (paid close to $300) that could give me the bright blonde I love so much. I researched a few salons closeby and read the very positive reviews about Salon H and thought…why not? I’ll try it out and see what happens. I’m so incredibly happy I chose this salon. The Receptionist was wonderful with scheduling when I called and was greeted very warmly when I arrived early for my appointment. I had a constant cough and she checked in to see if I needed water, etc.. The salon is absolutely beautiful and super clean and organized. I was very impressed. Also, I found it very smart and kind to offer new clients $20 off their first visit. My colorist, Crystal was so incredibly patient with me from the start, as I can be quite chatty especially when imparting the knowledge I received from past colorist’s techniques, etc. She handled me like a pro and remained professional throughout. The color came out phenomenal! I’ve posted a few photos below to support my statement. I’m so incredibly happy with the outcome and look forward to returning for future visits. I’ve found my new Salon and Stylist. Thank you, everyone at Salon H!

I could not say more about Melissa at Salon H. Thankfully she was able to get me in the day I called. She is very personable. She knew exactly what I wanted and it turned out amazing. The color is perfect for my complexion. My hair is very sensitive to color and I had no breakage which was wonderful! I will be going back to her for every hair treatment and will suggest her to anyone that is looking.

The stylist are knowledgeable and very kind. My stylist was professional and very patient navigating foiling my hair while my small child sat on my lap! She didn’t make any unsolicited comments upon the current state of my hair. She focused well and was not distracted by other clients and coworkers. I was so very pleased with my color and the finished cut/blowout. It’s been quite some time since I’ve left a salon feeling completely satisfied and not in a rush to go home and refresh my look. In addition my child,who is not yet in grade school, received a hair cut and the ladies were so great! They made my child feel special. The prices were very reasonable. If your are looking for a bargain price, this would not be a good fit for you. While the salon offers a small discount for first time clients, the price reflects the quality of service. Amazing and refreshing. I had no concerns regarding sanitation and everyone maintained pandemic protocol. The salon is very accomodating and inspite of mixing up my appointment date, my stylist Michelle catered to my needs. I cannot recommend this salon enough. Heidi is a magician with color. I have never received so many compliments on my hair color and I always leave her feeling stunning. Michelle gives me fantastic cuts and great hair advice when I need it. They are both really easy to talk to and I look forward to my appointments each time. The biggest positive is how I was treated by both of them, along w/other staff, while I was having a medical issue w/my scalp that was embarrassing and would have turned most hair dressers away. They treated me the same as anyone else and never made me feel uncomfortable or bad. The respect, care, and advice they give is great, they’re very talented, and the salon itself is decorated fantastically.

Heidi and the girls at Salon H were amazing for my June wedding on the Connecticut coast! I met Heidi a year before the big day, and I knew I was in good hands. She was thoughtful, talented and accommodating – allowing us to book the salon for the entire morning, creating unique, beautiful looks for EVERY girl (+ mothers of the bride and groom!!), and partnering with a makeup artist so everyone could enjoy themselves at one location while we prepped. My hair (a bun) lasted the entire night, and was exactly what I pictured. I couldn’t have been happier or more grateful to work with a professional like Heidi for my wedding day!

I was referred to Salon H by my banquet manager and I can not give enough praise to Crystal who did my hair and make up for my wedding. She travelled to our venue right in Madison the morning of. She was such a delight to work with. She very carefully listened to the different requests of my mom, stepmom, and maid of honor and each was thrilled with how their hair came out and lasted all night. She also did the hair of my young flower girls and they looked adorable. I must say Crystal has the patience of a saint. She spent SO much time with me for my hair and makeup because she knew how perfect I wanted everything to be and her hard work not only met my crazy expectations, but far exceeded them. I loved everything and I was so happy. Crystal has a heart of gold and she is super talented. I would recommend her and Salon H one thousand times over. Thank you, Crystal!! XO
