Hi. I went to Salon Gity about a week ago to get my hair extensions in. This was my first time and a great experience for me. Gity did my hair. She answered all my questions. She did my hair at a great speed too. She made me comfortable and eased all my worries. The most important – my hair looks totally nature and amazing. I’m really glad I did it. Highly recommend!!!! Just had my first appointment here and loved every bit of my experience with Salon Gitty. The service was great, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the ambience was very pretty and elegant. I recently visited Gity Salon in sugarland Texas, they actually transformed my hair from dull dry to the signature hair look according to my desire. The staff is amazing. I made an appointment for a hair strengthening treatment and a haircut but the stylists pushed something called a Milbon treatment. I asked several times, “will this stop my hair from breaking?” And each time they insisted ot would. So I agreed and came in for the treatment and a haircut. The stylist was supposedly a curly hair specialist but after she cut my hair, did the treatment, and styled my hair, it was a frizzy mess. I had to rewash and style it myself when i got home. A week later my hair is still breaking really bad and I called the salon to ask for a refund for only the treatment because it didn’t do what they told me it would do. The owner, Gity argued with me and cut me off on the phone insisting that her products NEVER fail and basically calling me a liar, all the while I’m trying to explain to her that regardless of if your product smoothed my hair out, you told me it would stop breakage and it did not. She demanded that I come in so she could see if the product worked or not or I wouldn’t get my refund. I’m not sure if she wanted me to bring in a bag of my shed hair to see if it stopped breakage or what but that’s disgusting and I’m not doing it. So they scammed me on the phone saying this treatment would stop breakage and refuse to refund me when it doesn’t work and I had to go pay another stylist to do a real anti-breakage treatment and a headache from this unethical company. *UPDATE* the owner replied to this review with a sad cop out of “oh the prior salon’s treatment damaged your hair and that’s why our treatment didn’t work.” How about stop making sad excuses for your own shortcomings and just refund what I paid because you guys lied to me and scammed me out of my money and I had to go get it fixed at another salon.

I had such an incredible experience at Gity’s Salon, they got me ready for a gala/fundraiser where I was participating as the Character of Pakistani Actress Rani (queen) from the 60s. My hair was prepared by Shahin and my updo was done by Elaine. I have no words to describe what an incredible job they did. I myself felt I was from the 60s.

Aylar is a new addition to Salon Gity. She gives facials and surprisingly she gives back facials. I have never had a back facial so I decided to try one.Absolutely excellent.
