I went her to get a slight trim and my hair dyed. The girl that did my hair (Stevie) was very pleasant and did a wonderful job! Her boss (Milena), however, turned my visit sour. First, she gave Stevie the wrong color for my hair type. Then she continued to belittle Stevie and repeat simple instructions multiple times as if she didn’t understand. Milena ended up ringing me up at the end and it cost me $30 more than estimated! That may not see like a lot to complain about but I went in thinking that I would pay $70 at most! She charged me for a Women’s cut (I am not a woman) which was $20 extra and she made me pay for the extra hair dye that was used to correct her mistakes! I would go back to see Stevie but not if Milena was working.

After reading the other reviews I am shocked to be the only negative one. Very disappointed. I would give zero stars if I could. First. Regina is incredible. Very personable and professional. I was scheduled to see LeeAnn. My first appointment ever to this Salon and when I showed up she wasn’t there. She was out sick and the owner, Melina, decided to bring Regina in to do my hair since it was a simple blow out without asking if this was okay. My blow out turned into a color. I wanted my hair straightened and LeeAnn was going to do a Brazilian Blow Out. Melina looked at my hair and said that was not what I wanted. I needed a Keratin Treatment. It would straighten my hair. I then scheduled with Melina. After my appointment I did as instructed and waited before washing my hair. After drying it was just as curly. Melina said she would have to see me to verify that it was curly and not just wavy. I sent her a picture. She apologized and said after checking with her representative for the Keratin products that she misunderstood and the treatment she did wasn’t intended to straighten my hair. After spending more than $200 for shampoo and the treatment I wasn’t very happy. Melina said she wanted to make this right. I scheduled an appointment and she did a deep conditioning treatment and trimmed my hair at no charge. She did exchange the shampoo I purchased for a product to make my curls look less frizzy. I now needed a touch up on my color and Melina said she was super booked how about trying another stylist in her shop. I said I would rather wait for her. She was supposed to check her schedule and get back to me. That was over a month ago. I did try LeeAnn for my son. When I showed up to the appointment she was starting another haircut. She said she would be a few minutes. We waited 10 minutes and my son was getting antsy. We left and got gas at Harris Teeter, she was still not done. We walked down to Super Cuts. The hairdresser at Supercuts was removing the smock from my son’s neck when I received the call that she was ready. I was willing to continue with Melina even after the treatment error. But, feel a bit cheated. I was scheduled with one stylist then given to another. Then taken away from the stylist who was supposed to see me to do something that fried my hair. Only then to be pushed away to another stylist. I have since consulted with three different hairdressers at three different locations and have been told that it will be 9 to 12 months before I can try to fix my hair.

I’m new to the area and I’ve been searching for a salon close by with good reviews. I called salon Gia to request a same day appointment for me and my daughter. Milena was able to fulfill that request and I love the way my hair turned out. We had an awesome experience. I will be booking my next appointment with salon Gia.

I have very fine hair that was terribly burned. Milena worked with me to bring it to shape and then gave me a wonderful perm for fine hair. I am so very happy with the outcome. From now on she is the only person that will touch my hair. She is great!! Thank you Milena!!!!!
