Murat is really fantastic. He’s VERY good with thick hair (short or long – I’ve had both with him, as I’ve been going for 5+ years), but based on other women I’ve seen in the salon, he’s good with thinner hair as well. He’s fun to talk with but happy to focus on just your hair if you’re not feeling chatty. I’d recommend him unequivocally. The only slight issue is parking, but that’s a general Georgetown problem. I’m able to find street parking within 5 minutes or so.

I hate to give such a bad review, but I bought a Gilt City coupon for a haircut and had a pretty terrible experience. While Suat was very very nice, and I enjoyed talking with him, he cut my hair completely uneven. I had to go to another salon and pay for another haircut the next day because it was so bad. I have long straight hair, so I thought it would be a fairly straight forward cut. I should have known something was up when he didn’t give me a mirror to look at my hair in the back. Very disappointed.
