My stylist left Glen Rock to work here at Salon G and I followed her but I’m concerned that there was no response from the owner Gerard to the negative reviews. Not everyone has a great experience but it is helpful when the owner responds online to explain. And it is always more appropriate to contact the owner directly to fix what went wrong. I am very happy with my visits so far.

The salon owner Gerard can be extremely rude depending on the mood he’s in. I scheduled a haircut appointment the same day and arrived 10 mins early to discuss what I wanted. I asked to dust off my ends with a face frame and curtain bangs. He cut off inches and gave me bangs above my nose. My hair was completely ruined. He then blow dried my hair and looked annoyed while doing it. he was trying to rush as I asked if he can add beach waves to my hair. Then a client walks in and shows up to her appointment with him at the wrong time because the receptionist gave her the wrong info. Gerard refused to style my hair and passed me down to a different stylist to finish the job. I walked out with the worst haircut of my life and -$90. AVOID COMING HERE!!!!!!!

Absolutely amazing I had a Groupon which usually other salons give u bad quality and rush through service. I mentioned it when making appt and got appt next day w Dee. She was very informative and did great job w haircut and color. Will be my go to salon from now on

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, PunctualityI have been going to this salon for over 10 years, since I was 16! It was where my first hair color was done with Gloria and since then, I’ve only seen her! I stopped going for awhile just because of money but now I only have gone to her and this salon exclusively for my haircuts. Gloria is so friendly, always does an amazing job with my hair and I always feel comfortable! I stopped going for awhile just because of money but now I only have gone to her and this salon exclusively for my haircuts. My girlfriend has been going here for a while, I recently moved to Jersey and decided to give Salon G a try. Sebastian was my stylist and he did a near picture perfect job with my hair! He managed to get it done exactly as requested and was well worth it. Will be coming back as a regular, I highly recommend coming here for a precise hair job.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI recently got my hair cut, the lady who cut my hair was very old and she cut my hair uneven and way too short even I told her length I wanted. She was talking very good with me but the owner didn’t give her a proper training.NOTE TO OWNER: THE owner/ director of Salon G was rude, not welcoming and disrespectful. First he said I don’t have an appointment with him which was not true because I have made sure before leaving my home. He was giving a good service to his favorite client but if you are new and do not know anything, he will send you to the old lady to ruin your precious hair.I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO HERE. I was very skeptical about purchasing a Groupon deal for deal to begin with, but with trusting someone else to touch my hair. After reading reviews about the salon, I called the salon and asked the questions that I needed to allow myself to follow through. I went with my gut and asked for Danielle as some customers had recommended her and liked her work. I was not only pleased that she took time to talk to me, but explain everything that she was going do and she made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. She was straight forward and honest with me the whole time I was there. I would recommend this place I do see myself going back there again, possibly switching stylists. Also the prices are fairly prices, but I guess seeing a price range of $40-$55 for a haircut is the normal price these days.
