I have done lots of research to find a reputable salon somewhat close to me. I decided to go to this place based on others reviews. I read as much as possible and I did read the one star once but I thought I’d give it a chance because of so many good ones. The salon is nice and appeared to be cleaned. Typical upbeat salon music in the background ( the kind of feel good and open your wallet). There were two or 3 customers and I figured they stay on track with their appointments so they don’t have people wait to long. After my check in, I immediately got a strange feeling. I had an appointment for haircut, hair color, eyebrows. As I got called, I felt rushed. I explained to my stylist what I want, she give me few advices and went to get the color. I was very clear of what I wanted ( BROWN….. chocolate brown). She came back with the mixture and applied it fast. I got sent to the corner to wait. I waited with the color over an hour. The brow lady called, she didn’t a good job and I added some extras. Now I’m done with brows and still didn’t get called to be washed. My stylist was doing her daughter’s hair. At this point my scalp started to itch, I knew it was way to long. She finally called me and after wash, trim and blow my hair looked good except is BLACK. I didn’t not want BLACK.

I have been coming to Freda for a while now, and everytime I have come I’ve never been even slightly disappointed. Freda has become a friend to me, a long with the other wonderful gals that work there. I have always enjoyed any hair or makeup styles I’ve gotten done. I most recently moved into new forms of waxing, and Lydia really helped me feel comfortable throughout this process! Over all I would highly recommend any services by anyone at this salon, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do

My mom came in today to get hair and makeup done. She has previously spoken to the hairdresser, kara and everything was set to go. My mom had a very specific picture on what she wanted and it was nothing crazy at all. I’ve spent 2 hours brushing my moms hair out because she was left with a knot and her curls were waves. My 5 year old niece could’ve done a better job. Moving onto the makeup “artist”, Mary- my mom specifically requested eye makeup. My mom was left with eyeshadow and was told if she wanted eyelashes done then that would be a separate appointment. So she had to make 2 appointments for her eye makeup? After an hour of sitting in a chair and not getting what she asked for, she paid over $100. Not only did they suck at what they are “licensed” to do, but they were inconsiderate of my moms time and money. I do not recommend this place or more specifically these people.
