I did a lot of research before deciding to book an appointment with Erica. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and she did an incredible job! I got light chocolate balayage on dark brown/black hair. It’s been several days and I still can’t stop admiring the natural, sun-kissed look she achieved. Also, I appreciated that she took her time perfecting my layers, keeping my length, and giving advice. Usually, I drive an hour away to get balayage/highlights, so I am even happier to have found such an amazing colorist in town at Salon Four. I can’t wait to return!Older review: First time at this salon because my usual was booked and I needed a haircut asap. Salon Four had a spot within the hour. I was taken early by Melanie, who gave great suggestions about what haircut to get and advice on hair care. I loved the results — Melanie cut off just the right amount to remove my split ends and add layers, while keeping my length, which was my goal. Also really appreciated our flowing convo. At other salons I’ve been to, it has been like pulling teeth to have a nice chat and, to me, that’s part of the whole customer experience. So thanks, Melanie! Lastly, the other staff was friendly and the place was stylishly decorated. Overall, an exceptional experience! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and she did an incredible job! I got light chocolate balayage on dark brown/black hair. Salon Four is clean and has a very cool funky vibe with lots of plants, natural light, and a fish tank.
