It’s been a couple days since I went to this salon and I really debated posting a review. I never post reviews (especially not bad ones) but I am struggling with how much I spent at this salon verses the service I received. I spent over $300 here and it was an awful experience. To start, I booked a hair trim and a keratin treatment. I’ve received keratins for 10 years now and I have never had a keratin/cut last longer than an hour and a half. I was at this salon for over 3 hours. I was also late to work because of it because I was not told on the phone how long their “special organic keratin with extra steps” would take. Which I should have been notified if it was going to take over 2 hours to complete. My stylist (who I won’t name because she was at least sweet) seemed newer in her career and a little nervous. I am okay with that because we all have to start somewhere. She did not section my hair off to cut it, she just started eyeballing it and cutting it saying she’d clean it up later after the keratin. Well since the keratin took over 2 hours, she had to rush to try and get me out without being late for work. I will give them credit, two stylists worked to blow dry and straighten my hair at the same time to speed up the process. However, getting yanked around by two stylists who were rushing was not a pleasurable experience. They made it seem like I was inconveniencing them by rushing but if I was told that this process would take 4 hours I would never have booked the appointment. One of the more senior stylist is the one who actually finished my hair trim and I was not happy with it, told them to fix it once, but was already late to work so I literally had to run out the door and did not have time to have them fix it. I even saw them give each other a look in the mirror knowing that it wasn’t a good cut and they knew I wasn’t happy. They had me check out in the salon chair before my hair was even dry or cut so I didn’t get to see the final cut. Making awarding a tip difficult and not to mention she made me say the tip out loud right in front of my stylist as she was straightening my hair. It’s been a couple days and I am still very unhappy with the cut and the quality of the keratin is probably the least straightening I’ve ever had. The salon itself was cute and clean. However, I just did not have a good experience and regret paying what I did.

I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my hair when I went it, and she helped me figure out what would work best for the type of hair that I had, and what I wanted.
