Marissa was my stylist and she did an amazing job! I haven’t colored my hair in over 10 years and my hair was DARK. I came out with a gorgeous princess pink color I’m obsessed with. She took great care of my hair through the process and came out with absolutely no damage. She made the whole process enjoyable. I would say if you need your hair colored go to her!

I love this place. It looks very small from the outside. Once you go in it’s a beautiful salon that just seems to go on and on. The owner/front desk are always polite no matter how busy they are. And they always have my favorite lollipops! They do excellent blowouts, eyelash extensions, and the environment is very nice. I just need to hang some coat hooks for them lol

I moved to Jersey about a year ago, and went to Fade on a whim. Ava has been my hair stylist ever since! The salon is super clean, professional, and easily accessible (online booking). I’ve been to Ava for hair coloring, haircuts, spray tans, etc. and she does not disappoint! She’s easy to talk to and friendly, and always makes sure your comfortable. I wish I could give Ava & the salon more than 5 stars!

Well! Where do I begin? First off, I made my appointment in the morning so I would have plenty of time to get home before my daughter had to be at work by 4. I was stressing the whole time. Being a former hairdresser, I don’t like to tell stylists how to do their job but boy oh boy, I should have today. The picture I showed Marissa was a modern version of what I walked in with although the color was a Smokey, pinkish~purple color. I was an auburn color which she referred to as “box dye”, every dye comes in a box and this wasn’t supermarket or drugstore brand. With the color I picked, my hair didn’t need to be “bleached rinsed” after 3 hours of the foils being in my hair. After that, I just told her to keep it blonde and tone it and also give me a shadow root as I was running out of time. It wouldn’t have been so bad if she didn’t, go outside for and hour and then take other clients(which I had to wait for to finish my hair). The cut? Omg ! I can’t even! Let’s just say I had to wait a couple of weeks for it to grow out so I could fix it. That’s how bad I was scalped and my hair was like wet cotton. I said I wanted texture, not breakage. The worse part was, I couldn’t even relax. It was such a horrific experience, I don’t think I will ever go to a salon again. Either they don’t know how to do short hair or they just don’t care to. Either way, I was out $300 for a whole day of stress, hunger and bad hair. I also had to spend money to buy Olaplex(which isn’t cheap) to make my hair feel like hair again. I am posting this to help someone else that might think of going and wants to keep their undamaged hair, just that…undamaged.

Ava is the best stylist! She always gives me the best Brazilian Blowouts, trims and curls my hair perfection! She is also absolutely amazing when it comes to makeup. Ava should be everyone’s go to hair stylist and make up artist, trust me you won’t regret it! She is truly so talented and professional, not to mention friendly and welcoming.
