I just went in today for the first time and had my haircut by Jenny. I just wanted a quick trim and to get some ideas of things to do for my hair for my wedding. Jenny was very kind and made sure she was cutting my hair just how I wanted – the length, the layers, the angles, etc. I am very easy going with my hair and she really went above and beyond. She gave me some great ideas, too! The salon is in a great location, lots of parking, very clean, etc. Will be back soon and will recommend to my friends and family.

I met John about a year and a half ago when I was searching for a new hairdresser. Being new to the area I didn’t have many people to ask for referrals. I found John and Salon Essential in a King of Prussia Facebook posting. I wear my hair in a very short pixie style textured cut, upon our first meeting John immediately understood what I was looking for and every cut since has been if not perfect, been a great cut. It is very difficult to find someone who is able to cut very short curly hair and blend it well, John gets it!

I used to get my haircut at the Hair Cuttery in Berwyn but when my stylist left, I tried the location in Chesterbrook. That’s where I met Jenny some 20 years ago. I am so glad her and her coworkers opened Salon Essentials. She is the best and knows just how to style my hair. All the staff are friendly and the salon is so clean. I travel from Royersford every 3 weeks to get my haircut. I won’t go anywhere else!

I had the most horrible haircut of my life here. This young man completely ruined my hair. half way through I hear he has only been working there for 4 months which shouldn’t have been a problem but I guess I wasn’t aware he learned how to cut hair by a blind person. He didn’t even know how to blend hair and had to get his coworker from the back. I asked for a trim on the top and was given practically a buzz cut. My self esteem is ruined and I have no idea how they can charge 30 dollars for a ruined hair day.
