Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, ValueMandy was a last minute life saver for my hair!!! I had serious bleach damage that was causing my hair to break off to the point where I lost almost 4-5 inches of hair in breakage. I was so insecure and upset about my hair and Mandy was so helpful in explaining to me the cause of the breakage and went above and beyond to give me a haircut that I absolutely love and discussed a plan with me to wait until it’s healthy enough to be colored. She is the absolute best and I plan on driving 2 hours to see her in the future as I am not local to Mooresville. Mandy was a last minute life saver for my hair!!! I had serious bleach damage that was causing my hair to break off to the point where I lost almost 4-5 inches of hair in breakage. I was so insecure and upset about my hair and Mandy was so helpful in explaining to me the cause of the breakage and went above and beyond to give me a haircut that I absolutely love and discussed a plan with me to wait until it’s healthy enough to be colored. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueWould not recommend, I had a horrible experience. Went to Salon Envy to get highlights and lighten my hair. The stylist put dark dye in between the highlights and it was the exact opposite of what I asked for and showed her a picture of. I’m naturally a dirty blonde so I wasn’t being unreasonable wanting lighter hair. By the end of the appointment, we both acknowledged it wasn’t what we discussed and Mandy said I could come back the following week for a correction. I paid $200 the first time and when I called to set up a second appointment for her to fix the color, she told me it would be another $100! The pricing is ridiculous and they don’t stand behind their work. The business simply told me they “don’t do” refunds under any circumstance. So I went to another salon and my hair took over 4 hours to fix. Mandy honestly made my hair worse than before and left my forehead stained with dye. Very disappointed as I’ve had services with them quite a few times before. They clearly don’t care about the customer, they just want their money and don’t care if you aren’t happy and had a bad experience. I asked for a 50% refund since that would have covered their dye costs but again they don’t do refunds at all. STAY AWAY!!! Horrible customer service and unless you want to spend $200 then another $200 to have Mandy’s work fixed it’s not worth it.
