She’s the only one in the area that is able to do dreadlocks so that’s where we went. She had to add extensions to the locks to make them longer. After two days several locks fell out. When contact was made she said she would redo them for a fee. We decided against it and would manage it somewhere else after doing more research. Come to find out a few days later my sister was in the shop getting her hair done by a different stylist. My name got brought up and Miranda, I’m certain without knowing it was my sister, was talking to the stylist and went into detail about how she had NEVER done dreadlock extensions before BUT didn’t mention that because we paid more than her usual price for locks. Miranda never said she wasn’t experienced with what we were asking, she also wouldn’t give us a price when we asked for a rough quote she INSISTED that we tell her our budget. At the time I thought maybe she was trying to be helpful so she knew what we could afford, I know see it as she was just wanting to know what was the max we would pay her.Without knowing any of this I also went to Miranda to have my hair colored to match my roots. Seemed simple enough and I’ve had it done else where before, it came out splotchy but Miranda asked me to book another appointment to fix it because she was closing for the night.
