I never really got an appointment at this location but I already had a “bad experience”. I walked in today because there was a sign right in front of the business inviting costumers for a walk-in experience. As I come in, for starters, nobody talks to me or ask me what I was looking for or what they could helped me with. As a second issue, I notice that employees make me feel very uncomfortable with staring eyes and absolutely silence, as if I was a ‘returning bad costumer’ or if I wasn’t welcome in that establishment. I went there due a recommendation of a friend of mine but as soon as I walked out of that place I contact him immediately very upset and he couldn’t believe what I said. Personally, I would never even try to give a second chance to this establishment; for one, treatment and for other, it seems a place that only welcome certain people.

I have been going to Salon Druknya for almost 10 years, and have never been disappointed. There a levels of stylists at the salon, so if you are looking for something more complex, you may want to request a stylist with more experience (you can review their website for this). Sonam is wonderful! She is knowledgeable and has a strong attention to detail hence the reason I continue to go to Salon Druknya.

The salon is very nice which gives you a great feeling walking in the door. Everyone seems nice enough. And this is my only experience there, however, for a $40 cut and style, I expect to be very happy with my hair. I’ve been using the same stylist for 10 years but I live too far away so I thought I would give Druknya a try. I had to go back to my original stylist so she could fix my hair. The style was nice (from Druknya) but the way she thinned my hair, ruined it. My hair was constantly in knots. My old stylist told me that it actually did damage my hair. So, even though it’s a nice place, I don’t trust the stylists techniques there. Not a happy customer.

It’s a very nice place with friendly staff. However, I asked for layers throughout and a 1/2 inch AT MOST off the ends. We agreed before she started cutting on how much would come off. Once she was done she had taken at least 2 inches. I know stylists have their own opinions on how much hair should come off to make it healthy etc. but at the end of the day it’s my hair and I’m the one paying for the service. It’s very frustrating. I was nice about it but I will not be coming back.

I moved here from SC this summer. Salon Druknya is awesome! I went to Salon Cielo first, as it was closer to my apartment, in August. I asked for a shoulder length cut, and came out with a chin length VERY SHORT layered bob. I hated it! I cried for like two days.

I had the pleasure of benefiting from a great haircut from Tashi. Newly settled in VA, I now go to Salon Druknya for my cuts. Tashi was open to my vague ideas, & worked very intuitively. A real artist of her craft. 5 stars no problem!Cool salon & vibe as well.

Upscale, calming atmosphere with sharp threading skill. I thought they would charge more for the threading than my salon at home does, due to this shop being fancier, but it was the exact same price—meaning it was inexpensive. 2 reasons I gave it 4 stars and not 5: (1) The threader was kind of slow to pull and used long lines, meaning it was more painful than usual. (2) I am not used to having to wait to be seen, which I did even though the threader greeted me and did not appear to be busy. But this may be because I’m not used to multi-service salons of this caliber. My frame of reference is a shop that does really good threading, yet is rarely so busy that I can’t walk in and be seen immediately.
