I’ve been coming to Gabby at Salon Doriano for over 8 years. After a nightmare haircut when I was young and a period where I would not let anyone touch my head, I started seeing Gabby for trims. She never cut off more than I’d ask, gaining my trust to try more dramatic cuts. Now, she’s blessed my head with major transitions in cuts and color and she is the only stylist I’ve seen since! Her work is beautiful and she establishes a great relationship with her clients to achieve the style they want while keeping their hair healthy. I really can’t recommend her enough!

Came in from Chicago for a wedding and found Salon Doriano through the excellent reviews shared. From the moment I entered the salon everyone was warm and welcoming. Gabby did a blowout and style and Kayla did my makeup, both did an outstanding job making me look and feel beautiful. I received so many compliments it made my day. The great energy from Doriano and his entire team was amazing. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Fishkill, NY.

After covid my hairdresser decided not to cut hair. I had been with her for years and was nervous to try someone new. A friend suggested Salon Doriano. I saw many positive reviews for Gabby so I decided to give her a try. I have now had 2 haircuts with her. The best haircut I’ve had in a really long time! She does exactly what you ask but also explains what that means to her to be sure you are on the same page. She is very talented, very sweet and made me love my hair. The fact that she has been here for so many years says alot about her employer. I am so happy with this salon and Gabby that I will not go anywhere else!

Clarifying the below. I’m not sure why the hairdresser said I hadn’t gone over a year without a haircut or color, that’s entirely untrue. I went in May (which is what I told her) to a different salon where I used to live. This was my first time with this stylist and she took it upon herself to make a cut I did not say I wanted, dead or not. I left the salon clearly unhappy and did not say once I was happy with the work done to the stylist or the owner. I showed her multiple pictures of my own head with the hair color I’ve gotten since I was 15. My hair color has never looked like this. I have never had a bob cut before which I didn’t ask for and the stylist did upon her own will. Prior to the cut and color I had a conversation with her about exactly what I wanted and showed pictures and a hair cut above my shoulders did not come up once, dead or not. I am aware my hair was dead but why didn’t the stylist recommend a treatment or say she cannot do it then? I was also never told by the stylist Gabby the bottom couldn’t take bleach so this is news to me right now!! Additionally, I called twice as I kept noticing how bad the job was ( I’m even having trouble putting it up in a ponytail right now). I’m very disappointed that the stylist couldn’t even tell me the bottoms couldn’t take bleach and took it upon herself to just chop it off. I’ve been to this salon before with a different stylist and was very happy with the product – but I’ve never had hair such a mess now in terms of color and cut. And clearly the stylist did not communicate with me at all throughout the process which is also extremely disappointing to me. I did get a full refund which I appreciate- but since the stylist left the whole bottom layer brown (again, not what we communicated and talked about) I’ll have to get it fixed so it doesn’t grow out brown. Overall, I believe the client is supposed to pick what they want done with their hair. Extremely disappointed with this entire experience and as stated I’ve been to the salon before with a different stylist and never had an issue like this and I wish she told me about how the bottoms didn’t take – because Gabby never once said this to me and I’m shocked she told this to you. This is the worst cut and color that has ever been done to my hair. Additionally, clients are allowed to make negative reviews if their work was done horribly. Each client has a different experience but mine was horrible with Gabby and I’m still dealing with the results of her work months later.

Gabby listens to exactly what I want, talks with me about what she’s doing and what’s best for my hair, and every time i leave with something BETTER than what i asked for.
