They being 40 minutes late. My fresh pedicure looks like it is a month old. I can do so much better. But the foot massage was good! And my extra dry heels was softer. I spend 25$ and almost 2 hours there. I will recommend that but only for men. I think it is all depends on a person who will do it for you. I was there 3 times because I been using a gift cards. And it was always disappointing. But maybe some girls are better than others.

I was incredibly disappointed by salon del sol over the weekend. I have been coming to them every 4 weeks for over a year. Never had an issue with no showing or cancelling appointments. I had an 11 am appointment Saturday for a pedicure. At about 8am that morning I cut the back of my foot open pretty bad on my back patio door. I called them right away and let them know what happened and that instead of me coming in as scheduled and risking infection for myself or anyone who sat In the chair after me, I wished to reschedule. They have a cancellation policy that states if you do not call for reschedule 24hrs in advance you MAY be charged 100% of your scheduled appointment price. The word “may” implies there should be exceptions, especially something like a physical injury to the part of the body they’d be servicing. They ended up charging me 100% of my appointment. I guess it would have been better to go in and risk infection than to let them know , since I was paying for it anyways. Not a great way to treat loyal customers. *** Edit: spoke w/ salon owner who is always very sweet. She was very apologetic and I am very happy with her response to this issue ***

Salon del Sol is wonderful – and Karrah is what really made it an exceptional 5 star experience. I love coloring my hair, but sitting at the salon for hours trying to clumsily make small talk often makes me feel like I am going to the dentist!
