Shortly after opening Salon Daniel in McLean, Virginia, Daniel Bechara was approached to do hair for the newly-crowned Miss Universe, Lupita Jones. Sureyya at Salon Daniel is fantastic! This is a photo of my daughter’s hair after Sureyya recently cut and styled it. I’ve been going to Sureyya for over 15 years now for mainly cuts and highlights (a friend referred me to her) and ever since I first told her what I like, she never lets me down. Not only does she keep what I told her in mind, she also keeps my hair current with the shape, style, and cut. As for color and highlights, she hasn’t disappointed either! She listens and engages well, and always makes it a positive experience. She makes us laugh, smile, and feel good that we’re there. In addition, the ladies who wash our hair are fantastic as well. We feel like we’re getting a head/scalp massage and we’re always so relaxed! We highly recommend Salon Daniel (especially Sureyya) and look forward to our future visits!

If you’ve been thinking about getting a Cezanne treatment – I can’t recommend Samira at Salon Daniel enough. She has developed her own method of application that lasts FAR longer than anyone else (can’t help root growth, but other than that it seems to stay forever!). Hair straightening

The first time I went to Salon Daniel I had a great experience and I loved my cut and color. It looked beautiful and I got many compliments on it. The second time I went back, I unfortunately wasn’t as impressed. The stylist was double booked, and as a result of not having their undivided attention I noticed that my blonde highlights over-processed. I have uneven color (some spots are more silvery and some are more yellow), and I’ve noticed quite a bit of breakage which is upsetting because I take very good care of my hair. Also, because of the double booking I ended up waiting about 45 minutes after my appointment was supposed to begin to get started. For the amount of money they charge, I expected better service.
