I’m not one for reviews but Carol is absolutely amazing. I started coming to this salon a few months ago after moving here from NY. I had been a loyal customer to my hair stylist for over 15 years and was afraid to start over with someone new. Carol matched my color spot on! My hair looks fantastic! I highly recommend Carol and Salon Couture. You won’t be disappointed.

Carol is amazing! I decided I wanted to do something to my hair on a whim and was able to book online for a next day appointment. When I got there, it was clear they were taking all necessary precautions for covid, which was a huge relief. Carol was very thorough in asking me what I wanted and took time to explain everything to me to make sure I knew and understood what was going to be done. She consistently went the extra mile. My hair looked amazing, I couldn’t believe it was my hair! She provided me love, kindness, and relaxation I needed after a hard few months, and I cannot thank her enough. I will definitely be back, and recommend her 100%.

Awesome place. I was visiting from Texas and decided I wanted to get my hair done, I couldn’t get in anywhere bc everything was booked for the next month. When I called Couture, they were also completely booked and then she asked me if I could be there within 15 minutes and I said yes. Between her and another lady they were able to cut & highlight my hair. awesome. Thank you for loving your job and helping me while I was away from home. Sweet lady’s yes I recommend this place.

I have been getting my haircut by the same person for over tens years and needed to find someone quick here in Charleston. I do not trust many people because my hair is so long and thick, but Marco did such an amazing job! He knew exactly the right way to put layers in my hair so it would look great and he thinned out my hair perfectly. He went out of his way to make my experience a great one and I will definitely be coming back in the future! I would 100% recommend going to Salon Couture and booking an appointment with Marco!

Angela Walts cut and colored my hair today and I absolutely love it! She made me look and feel so beautiful. After I left the salon, I had several people stop me on the street to ask me who does my hair… My hair looks and feels great and I have Angela to thank for that! I got a balayage done by the owner, Carol, and it is so wrong and bad.. the worst color I have ever received and I have never asked for a refund in my life and had the courage to because I had to get it redone through a different salon and it is expensive!! However, she refused even after sending her pictures as she wanted me to come in and show her. That’s so uncomfortable and inconvenient for me as a customer and I even tipped her 20%. You could clearly see in the photos how bad it was. All I asked for was a refund on the color. Not on the cut or tip. She just kept arguing, never apologized and just made the whole situation so uncomfortable and told me it was my fault. Poor customer service and owner of a business right there!!It is all orange & yellow, bulky, looking highlights.. see my pics in Yelp. She legit just bleached it and did “her balayage technique” and I have never had anyone do what she did. I’ve been getting this style done for years! I even showed her a picture of what I wanted and she just said okay and I trusted her professionalism to get it done… WRONG. She should have asked more questions if she didn’t understand the photo instead of just saying okay and pretending she understood/walked away quickly as that gave me the impression she got it. She had good reviews so I figured she knew what she was doing. Avoid avoid avoid Carol for balayage. I showed a few other salons and they all were in just as much shock as I was.
