I hesitantly went to Shelbei at Salon Cosmetica a year after another hairdresser in the area completely destroyed my hair, afraid I might have a repeat of last time. BUT, Shelbei was incredible and exceeded all my expectations. She took the photographs I brought for inspiration and completely transformed my hair from bland, damaged and unattractive to absolutely bright, beautiful and dimensional. I have never been so happy with the way my hair has turned out at a salon. Shelbei listened, was very friendly, took her time to make it perfect, and meticulously and methodically transformed my hair. Salon Cosmetica was clean and comfortable, but Shelbei is the star in this whole experience. She is clearly passionate about what she does and it shines in her work.

I ABSOLUTELY had a Amazingly Perfect visit with Criss@Salan Cosmetica!! My nails were really a MESS when I got there, leaving there I definitely could not believe what a Wonderful job she did!! Salon Cosmetica is wonderful!!! They have a hair salon, nail salon, massage therapist, and more. If you are looking for a full service salon in the area, this is your best bet. The staff are such wonderful people and the new owners are amazing!!! I would recommend anyone to Salon Cosmetica!!!

I moved away from the stylist that has cut my hair for years, and I had trouble trusting people with my hair. I booked an appointment with Christine because she was available at a convenient time, and I’m glad I did! I didn’t really know what I wanted, and she helped steer me in the right direction to find a cut that I was happy with. Any questions I had, she answered confidently (that’s what really stuck out about her). She was easy to talk to and honest. And for the most important thing, my hair looks and feels absolutely amazing. She’s new to the salon, so I really want to give her the kudos she deserves! Thank you!! I’m excited to book with you again!

To start this review I want to say that the procedure until the haircut was splendid, they treated me very nice! I was seated with Christine the stylist (by the way when I called to make the appointment I specifically requested someone who can cut short hair). I explained to Christine what I wanted done, and from there on, she took over and did what she wanted! Total disaster, to the point I was in tears, and stormed out of the Salon enraged. Even the customer sitting next to me getting her hair done was shocked!! The stylist did not charge me for the haircut, but now my hair looks horrible, and uneven!

This place is just amazing and fabulous! Litter-ally fell in love with Angeleah! She did a amazing job on my nails with the dip service! She was super sweet and very knowledgeable about the job! Would recommend her to anyone! The staff seemed very welcoming and sweet! I’m total I am over the top happy with the service and defiantly will be back!

This is my second visit with Vanna; I’ve always admired my friends gorgeous nails so I was excited to give her a try! My first visit she gave me beautiful nude nails (dip) for my out of the country trip I was going on. Just getting back, I decided this time I wanted to go with my natural short nails and they look absolutely amazing in one of my favorite colors, “Lincoln Park After Dark”. She has an incredible selection of quality polishes not like in some salons where they look like the been sitting there for years. Well worth the 25 minute drive for me.
