Critical: Professionalism, ValueThis was very traumatic for me.. I asked the hair stylist if she has worked with my hair type (I have curly wavy hair) before and she said yes. I told her I wanted 2.5 to 3 inches of my hair trimmed off. She said okay.. she proceeded to pull my hair back (low ponytail style) and chop it all of in one sweep.. I was terribly confused because that is not a way to cut hair to make sure it’s the correct length..I was facing away from the mirror before I noticed how much of my hair she actually cut off.. she then started to STRAIGHTEN my hair without asking me.. I asked her what she was doing!!! She then said it was to make sure my hair was cut even.. that’s when I started to get a little suspicious but went along with it since the last place I got my cut from dry cut my hair unevenly. When she started to cut around my face I knew something was reallly wrong. She was cutting under my jawline… I did not as for a face frame.. I turned to her and she yet a again did a big CHOP without making sure the other side was even..she saw her mistake and started to cut shorter ..I was FUMMING… I told her I just asked for a straight trim.. why was she by my face if my hair is long… that’s when I saw myself in the mirror… she has straighten and cut to my shoulders… a now have a bob.. I was frustrated since I thought we understood that I can’t get too much cut because my hair is CURLY.. so it will curl up even shorter…instead of the 2.5 inches, I got 9 inches cut off… but because my hair is curly it looks like 12 inches of my hair was cut off… I now have a BOB… A STUPID UNWANTED BOB that curls up…I cried for days because my hair means a lot to me… this was horrible.. I tried to call the salon over 10 times but they have not picked up… I’m not sure what to do anymore other than say this was HORRIBLE…Service: HaircutThis was very traumatic for me..
