My layers are gorgeous and she gave me a head massage from heaven. I haven’t been to a salon in years and she was fantastic! Went in for blue highlights and a trim. I got what I wanted and it turned out wonderful! I have medium/long thick dark curly hair. It takes time to work on, but the time was worth it, and I already expected the long process so didn’t mind. Mariah talked me through the process before beginning anything, asked me questions per my liking for the hair and she did listen.

Mariah was really nice and did teach me more about how to keep in curls, but I feel like she didn’t really listen to me. I showed her my inspiration picture and she only looked at it once. She asked about framing my face and I told her I didn’t want that. She then said she was going to do it a little. I was fine with that, because with a little face framing I thought it was going to be barely noticeable. Wrong. Now I wish I didn’t pay for the whole service.

I have been going to Salon Brands in Joplin for quite some time now and I would highly recommend them. Desiree is my hair stylist and she always does a great job. They have a nice atmosphere. It is never too loud nor distracting even when it gets busy. The other girls that work there are always helpful, knowledgable, and enjoyable to be around as well. And the product selection is huge, so they offer any customer a lot of variety. 10/10.

I’ve been going to Mariah for over 4 years now and I am extremely satisfied with her skill, her knowledge of the products they sell, and her attention to ensuring I’m happy with my haircut when she finishes.
