Not for me I guess. I called the saloon on August 10th after I spoke with them on instagram couple times and complimenting on their work. Based on the picture that I liked and what I wanted to do with my hair Victoria was recommended. She was nice and everything during our phone call but it didn’t seem that she was willing to take someone new. She mentioned she will ONLY do Consultation in mornings since afternoons are busy for her after I kindly mentioned I am working and I am not able to make it in the morning and would go any afternoon that would be the best for her. Also she assured me it will only take 10 minutes so it did not make any sense whatsoever. I won’t be able to lose work for only 10 minutes and I am sure it wouldn’t be a big deal for her to do in one afternoon since it would only take 10 minutes. Since I realized we will be back and fourth with this I kindly asked to meet her any time or day before September 7th because I want to be ready for my daughters birthday party. She mentioned that her bookings are weeks ahead booked and I totally understand that but if I am calling 4 weeks ahead and you are not able to help me then I will look somewhere else. I don’t think any of us will be able to wait for a month or two to get another appoint to feel good and pretty. Really wanted to try them out but I guess it wasn’t meant to be. I have already booked somewhere else I am extremely happy that at least I was accepted to try!

The staff at Salon A is talented and friendly making this an ideal spot to relax and feel at home while receiving a professional service that will leave you feeling pampered and looking fabulous. Their prices are reasonable, their staff is talented, and the atmosphere is welcoming which is why I am thrilled to have found this treasure of a salon nestled right here in Lyndhurst. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I found this Salon because I followed Lisa C who has been my hairstylist for the past 30 years! I have been going to her since I was 19 years old, and she is by far one of the best hair stylists I have ever had. I even lived out of state and would fly home and be sure to get my hair done by Lisa! Her knowledge of hair, color, along with what is new and trending styles is superior and will continue going to her until we grow old and NOT GRAY! lol

I haven’t had my eye brows done in 14 years or longer and they are thick. However, I was told about threading my eye brows. So Elisa showed me a video on utube. So I decided to get it done. I’m not going to lie, it was a little painful since my 1st time but I must say Stephanie did a wonderful job. Thanks Elisa for showing me the video. My husband likes it.

If you decide to go ask for Maria! She is AMAZING at what she does. She consults with you about the color/cut your trying to achieve, and makes sure that it works for YOU. A lot of stylists are quick to just try to repeat a look from a celeb or a magazine, but Maria goes above and beyond and makes sure it works for her client, and that the client leaves happy!

A for a professional salon experience with a warm feel this is the place. The owner Angela has been taking care of my hair for 15 years, she also takes care of my daughters hair (not an easy task). Dina has been taking care of my nails for the same (always available for a quick repair). This is an extremely professional group educated in all the lastest of the profession. Pick a staff member Angela, Linda or Victoria and you will have a great experience, than make an appointment with Dina for a mani/pedi to top off your Salon A experience. The salon is immaculately clean not to mention beautiful. Call for an appointment you will be glad you did.
