Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI went in for a consultation and the hair dresser was totally uneducated in giving me ideas according to the health of my hair . She sat me in her area which was near the window and the sun beating on me . I was very hot and uncomfortable . Even tho I let her know she did nothing to make my more comfortable ! The owner came in and did not even bother introducing herself to me considering I was a new client. This was a Saturday app. and she came in to pick up something . The other hairdresser was just as unfriendly and loud ! This was not a relaxing or enjoyable atmosphere at all. Mackenzie could not give me an idea as to where I should go with my hair at all. She finally decided to color my hair closer to my natural color . To be followed by a balayage at a later date . Which at that point was just fine with me. My app. was for 4 hrs. When she finally did start on my hair it was so rushed because she had another app. I made it very clear when I made my app. that I wanted the health of my hair evaluated and suggestions made as to how to proceed with what I wanted in the healthiest way possible ! Mackenzie was very friendly, but could not help me in the which direction to take my hair. After the color was washed out of my hair she made it very clear that her next appointment would be coming in very soon and she did not have the time to blow dry my hair. After being charged over $250.00 ! I also gave her a very generous tip. To not have your hair blow dried or styled is and excusable . Once my hair dried there were gray areas that the color had never even been applied to. Just a very disappointing experience all around ! I did call to let her know about the areas that the color didn’t cover and she did offer to fix it. I just did not feel I had any trust in her ability nor did I want to spend any more money at this salon . I paid over $250.00 for a single process hair color and trim . No blow drying or style ! I just can’t understand how any hairdresser can justify charging someone that kind of money for doing so little ? Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueWent in for a simple trim with Mackenzie, by far the best experience I’ve had at a salon. Mackenzie was professional and knowledgeable, providing input and insight into how my hair would look if we went with my initial thought. Went with her suggestions and I left beyond happy with how my hair turned out. Highly recommend to others.Service: Haircut
