Well…I’ve had a serious change of heart regarding this salon. I’ve been searching for a new stylist since my former stylist of 10 years left to be a stay at home mom. Months ago my mother and I walked into Salon 74, hoping to find a new stylist. The first disappointing thing that we noticed was that NOBODY acknowledged our presence at the front desk. We stood there for 10 minutes (!) just waiting. We saw other stylists NOTICE US STANDING THERE yet not one of them ever acknowledged us. I finally had to go over to one of them and ask if someone could please assist us in making an appointment? Terrible “customer service.” But I eventually found one stylist, Krissy, who did do a great job with my hair. So….over the past month or so I’ve been trying to make another appointment with her. I’ve left messages on their website….about 3or 4. NO RESPONSE. I’ve called the salon. NO ANSWER. HUH?! I finally did get a hold of a receptionist to make an appointment. She seemed in a rush and wasn’t the friendliest. I AM A CUSTOMER. OR WAS. In the end….this isn’t really about HAIR. IT’S ABOUT HOW YOU TREAT OTHER PEOPLE. CLIENTS OR NOT. These experiences gave me a bad vibe and I won’t be returning. Please learn from these mistakes. I grew up with many family members who owned businesses. My mother was a hairstylist as well. I know that acknowledging a customer is extremely important to them feeling special and important to you and your business. I didn’t feel either. Shame on you.

It was disasters salon, i got my schedule from one week ago and exactly on the appointment date they change my time 3 time, from 1 to 4 pm and then after I went there they couldn’t down my hair and told me come tomorrow and again next day called me that sry could you please change your appointment and after argued on the phon put me with another one at 5 pm, and after that they work was disaster and just for 2 days my hair was good, and damaged my hair, the salon is chic but the work is disasters, im done with them!!! So baddd 0/10

JORDYN DOES AMAZING HAIR COLOR. THE BEST COLORIST I’VE EVER HAD! I’ve followed her from 2 other Salons and fly out to see her now that I live out of the area. She is amazing and always makes time.

Positive: QualityI went to salon 74 for three years before I moved… i LOVE megan! she is not only extremely talented, but also such an amazing person! My mom would take me and my sister to get our hair cut every 4 months or so and she would get highlights from her…my mom’s hair looked amazing and me and my sister’s hair felt new even tho it was just a cut lol. Megan always had a smile on her face and would make me feel so beautiful after! Love the atmosphere!! And the service is top notch! Chose Salon 74 for my bridal updo and make up along with all my bridesmaids and everyone’s hair and make up was perfect for our wedding day not to mention we all had a fun enjoyable day together! The three M’s are magical (Michelle, Megan and Mina)! The mimosas were a nice touch too;) We had Michelle and Megan for our bridal party hair up-dos and Mina for our make-up and lashes! They are awesome! They captured some great pictures for us too:) Thank you Salon 74!

Critical: ProfessionalismBooked an appt a week ago for today ! Got a voice massage that my appt is cancelled due to emergencies! Called them to see if any body else see me since it is last minute and I need to be at my event by 3 , receptionist said No ! This shows they are not reliable ! Don’t recommend them to anybody !

Earlier today, I booked a last-minute appointment at Salon 74. When I was making the appointment over the phone, I mentioned that I wanted a women’s haircut and have short hair. The woman on the phone did not ask for any further information aside from my name and telephone number. I have a pixie haircut which is in dire need of a good refresh, and I was grateful to have snagged an appointment for tonight.
