I was unable to travel out of state and get my hair done by my regular stylist, and I was a little hesitant to go to a new salon at first. Esther did a wonderful job straightening my hair. I was unable to travel out of state and get my hair done by my regular stylist, and I was a little hesitant to go to a new salon at first. However, her years of experience with many different types of hair gave me confidence. I’m glad I’ve found another great stylist. I was with Esther all day, and she took great care of my hair. I will definitely return.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityThis was my first and last time coming to this salon. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the person who cut my hair first, but after telling her I wanted to grow my hair out and to only cut off an inch she proceeded to lop off 3 inch sections. I even had a photo for reference and had taken time to grow my hair out for it. It looked nothing like the photo at all, it was flat, several inches too short and impossible to style even remotely the same way I could when I came in. After going home and trying to restyle it myself, a bit of crying, and having a breakdown I went back in too ask for a refund.They said no. They said that service had already been provided. I argued that what I got was far from what I paid for, I just wanted my money back so at least I would know i hadnt spent 30 bucks just ruin my hair and set me back months of growth.Erica, another stylist there, offered to try and fix it. She talked me through what she was going to do before doing it to make sure it was what I wanted and was very kind. Two things the 1st stylist didn’t provide at all. Erika did a great job salvaging what was left of my hair, I’m sure if I had seen her in the first place this never would have happened. I still hate my haircut Unfortunately thus the 1 star. This was my first and last time coming to this salon. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the person who cut my hair first, but after telling her I wanted to grow my hair out and to only cut off an inch she proceeded to lop off 3 inch sections. I even had a photo for reference and had taken time to grow my hair out for it. The space is vibrant and clean. It has a very professional and new feeling to it. Esther was very attentive and meticulous the entire time. At other hair salons, I have sometimes felt like they were trying to rush my haircut to get to the next customer, but Esther took so much care with my hair, I felt as if she was cutting her own.Additionally, there is a rewards program. After 10 haircuts you get a free haircut or deep conditioning! AND after getting a haircut you are automatically entered into a monthly drawing for a chance to win around $25 of free hair supplies. Her young children love picking the winners every month from the raffle box. She also had me fill out a client form to list my birthday, hobbies, occupation and preferred appointment time. It was a small touch, but it made me feel like more than a transaction and that this salon cares about me.Esther is personable and shared that opening up a hair salon of her own in Arizona has always been her dream. As an Asian-American with thick hair, I was so relieved to have found this place on Yelp! Excellent customer service. The space is vibrant and clean. It has a very professional and new feeling to it. Esther was very attentive and meticulous the entire time. At other hair salons, I have sometimes felt like they were trying to rush my haircut to get to the next customer, but Esther took so much care with my hair, I felt as if she was cutting her own.

My hair was curl and very wavy before the service. After the Japanese straightening treatment at this salon, my hair becomes as straight as I expected.
