I moved to Lexington a year ago and decided to try this cute uptown shop, Salon 506. So glad I did! The salon is bright, cheery and well stocked with quality products. Carla listens to what you need and she is very skilled. My haircut looks just as great 6 weeks in as it does on the day of the cut. Carla makes Christmas special with an open house and fun contests. I won this year and was awarded a beautiful gift basket with incredible Aveda products. Salon 506 has been a great experience for me. I’m not going anywhere else.

i went to see angie today and that girl really did my hair up right! she took her time and was very concise with my hair. i have hair that reaches my tailbone and she made sure not to damage it while correcting the box color i had on it. she works wonders and i would HIGHLY recommend seeing angie here! Angie NAILED IT!!!! I rarely color my hair and I haven’t had a hair cut in ages since COVID. I recently moved to the area. I was feeling low and was hoping a trip to the salon would help. I can’t even begin to tell you how happy this whole experience made me. Angie far exceeded my expectations with an AWESOME cut and color!!! I truly regret not taking before and after pics. The owner of the salon is also incredible! I am definitely coming back!!!

I have been going to Carla’s salon for around 30 years and can’t imagine letting anyone else cut or color my hair. I always get compliments on my hair and most people are surprised to learn that it has been colored because it looks completely natural. I read a couple of bad reviews and can assure anyone those people must exist in an alternate universe! I know the care Carla takes with her business and the great work she does for her customers. I just hope she NEVER retires! BTW, you get what you pay for and with Carla that’s world class service.

Thank you Salon 506 for making me love my hair again! Carla has a lot of experience and knows how to make your hair look great. I came to her several years ago with a bad cut, color and highlights and she has transformed the awful look into something I get tons of compliments on from everyone. Would highly recommend her for anyone looking for an experienced stylist with color, highlights and good cuts and styles. I recently moved to NC and searched for a salon. After reading reviews, I made an appointment with Carla. So glad I did. I have always worn my hair very short. Carla asked if I’d like to try something new and grow my hair longer again. Said it would also make me look younger. It’s been 10 months now, and I couldn’t be happier with what Carla has done with my hair. I love the style and the color she has given me. Carla is a very skilled professional and I couldn’t be happier with the transformation she’s done on me! People have commented that I look younger, so thanks Carla for taking years off my life!!! Carla makes everyone feel so welcome . . . and Emma, her chihuahua, keeps everyone company as she sleeps in her basket filled with blankets right next to your salon chair.
