I never do reviews…but I had to share my thoughts about Salon 5 East. I have lived in a lot of places. I have gone to numberless salons in my lifetime. I just moved to New Canaan from Australia and had no idea where to go. I saw Salon 5 East and thought I would give it a try. I called and talked to the receptionist and she listened to my concerns, what I was looking for, and what I needed and wanted. In fact, she put many people on hold while she took the time I needed to make my appointment. It was amazing. Then I had the privilege of getting my hair done by the owner, Toni. She is so incredible! She was so kind and so thoughtful. She made me feel comfortable right away with her warm personality, and immediately I knew I was in good hands because she knew what she was doing! She does have over 35 years of experience. Hands down the best experience I’ve had in a long time. ANd my hair has never looked this good. I am a new customer, but now a loyal customer. Huge thank you to Toni and her staff!!

I have been going to Toni for years and she truly is an artist. She keeps herself and her staff up to date on the latest styles, products and techniques. I recently had the formaldehyde free keratin treatment and couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for my hair and was worth every penny. Her staff is also very friendly and professional – such a great place!!

I had a wonderful experience here last weekend. Got a great facial and manicure, felt pampered through and though. It was a pleasure to be greeted by the new management. Julinda, the new manager, was professional, knowledgeable as well as friendly. She kept me company while I was browsing through the wonderful products they have on display and gave me great advice. Overall great place and will definitely go back.
