Critical: ProfessionalismBy far the least professional hair dresser I’ve been to. The reason I tried them out is because they have a Groupon. When I got there they made me return my Groupon so that I could pay them through Venmo .. long story short I never got my refund so now I’m working with my bank to get my money back.Second, the Groupon was for balayage or highlights and the woman was trying to push me into highlights (easier process) and I kept telling her no I want balayage because you can see the roots easily with highlights… she then did my balayage but didn’t go near the root, basically covered the color that I have..After that a woman came in with a Groupon and was explaining that she made an appointment with someone and apparently that person wasn’t there and the woman doing my hair was terrible to her. She eventually FaceTimed her boss and said she would do her hair for an extra $80 because it was long … it wasn’t much longer than mine… I was pretty disgusted by that but kept a happy face and tried to get out of there as fast as possible (left with wet hair by choice lol). By far the least professional hair dresser I’ve been to. The reason I tried them out is because they have a Groupon. When I got there they made me return my Groupon so that I could pay them through Venmo .. long story short I never got my refund so now I’m working with my bank to get my money back.

Positive: ProfessionalismAfter trying multiple different hair salons to achieve the perfect blonde color, I finally found Patricia at Salon 469. She does an amazing job with the highlights and now I refuse to go to anyone else! I have gone there about 4 times now and I have absolutely zero complaints. The staff is very welcoming and their hair transformations amaze me!! After trying multiple different hair salons to achieve the perfect blonde color, I finally found Patricia at Salon 469. She does an amazing job with the highlights and now I refuse to go to anyone else! I have gone there about 4 times now and I have absolutely zero complaints. The staff is very welcoming and their hair transformations amaze me!! If you want gorgeous blonde hair, I would highly recommend you go to patricia!!

Critical: ProfessionalismI went to this salon to get a haircut, conditioning and blowout using the Groupon voucher on my birthday and boy did the whole experience suck! First of all, when I called the salon to book an appointment and inquire about the Groupon, this stylist named Patricia picked up and asked me for my name. Upon providing my name, she asked me where I was from which is pretty rude. I told her ‘where I am from’ is not relevant for this haircut. Then she continued to say oh you don’t have to answer that. She went on to mention that I shouldn’t buy the Groupon and instead she would honor the same price to me upon arrival. I said okay whatever. I bought the Groupon anyway because I don’t trust these small business over a giant company like Groupon. Upon arrival, Patricia mentions to me that I can’t use the Groupon on a Saturday. Funny how she didn’t mention this on the phone when I called – if I had known I wouldn’t have showed up on a Saturday anyway. She continued to argue and create a scene in front of all the customers while I was at the salon and was verbally attacking me because I bought the voucher on Groupon and not from her directly. I don’t understand why Patricia thinks people should do what she thinks is right? Why should I not buy a Groupon? I trust Groupon way more than any small business. It’s my choice at the end of the day and this business needs to respect that and stop forcing people to buy haircuts directly from them. Why advertise on Groupon if you are going to tell customers not to buy from them? Oh and then they lost the back of my earring while washing my hair! I mean the whole experience was horrible. No doubt Patricia gave me a nice haircut and is very talented. BUT…..talent without good customer service skills will not bring customers back to your door!
