I got tape in extensions from Allie and am beyond happy with them!! We did a consult, she purchased the hair through the salon and installed within 2 weeks. I did A LOT of research on extensions, on types and compared prices. For my hair type, I felt tape ins were the best fit. And compared to my research, the install was very reasonably priced. Even the hair wasn’t too pricey for the quality. They do all types of extensions there apparently. I would highly recommend if this is what you’re looking for! I wish I would have done this years ago!!

This is genuinely one of the most relaxing settings for a salon in the world, it looked so small on the outside, but as soon as you walk in, it’s like a haven for someone wanting a full salon experience; From five star service at the front all the way to the products used on my hair, Mel was amazing at catching my thick curly hair and knowing exactly how to manage it the moment I sat down. Knowing that I am in good hands with this Salon, I’ve felt comfortable enough to try tape in extensions, a wide variety of color from light to dark, and several haircut styles. All of which have turned out great and my hair is healthier than ever. The results are great, and the service is even better!

The reviews raving about Marissa stood out to me so I made an appointment with her for color correction and cut. I met with Marissa for a consultation to discuss my color that I had become very unhappy with over time and my unruly curly hairstyle. She listened to me and gave her honest professional opinion as well as hair care instructions that I have never received before. I could not be happier with the results with both! I love Salon 42 and this is the first hair saloon I have been to more than three times. I have always wanted a fashion color for my hair, but ever hairdresser I have seen has always steered me away from it. Erica B. with Salon 42 is the first person to be totally on board with me and she has done an amazing job. The color they use here stays in my hair for weeks and my hair has had very little fading. I have also recently been growing my hair out (I have always wanted long hair) and finally had it cut with layers on my most recent appointment. I don’t know why I waited so long to have it cut! I love the layers Erica B. gave me. She makes me feel very comfortable during each appointment and remembers everything we talk about.
