I have been seeing stylist Barbara Parker for around 2 years now after finding her on Instagram. I fell in love with the pictures of her clients hair and her professionalism and friendly nature are what keep me coming back. I love that she always takes time to figure out what I want and also helps me figure out what would be good for my hair type and face shape. She really cares about her clients and I’m so thankful to have her as a stylist that I trust and feel confident recommending to others. I highly recommend using her for any hair services.

I work next to the salon and decided to go after I bad attempt to trim my pixie mullet. Kara at the front desk was immediately warm and friendly. Jessie did a great job fixing my hair and giving it a nice edgy look. I liked that she took her time and made me feel she really cared about my cut to make sure I was happy. While I was getting my haircut all other employees also seemed very genuine, positive and friendly. Great little atmosphere, attitudes and hairstyles. I will most definitely be back again 🙂

Lauren always does a beautiful job with my color and cut. She’s done my hair and my daughter’s for weddings and proms too. We both have been very happy each time. She is always on time and the whole staff is very professional and friendly. I’d recommend the salon and Lauren highly!

I highly recommend Salon 42 as a whole but by far the best stylist in my opinion is Hailey! Don’t skimp on finding a good stylist (trust me lol), she is a worth every penny! Also the owners are amazing, she went above and beyond for me during a time of hair crisis and I can’t thank her enough!

I went to Salon 42 for YEARS, started in South Park and even transferred up to Lake Norman. Lauren is more concerned with her social life rather than the customer to say the least. There was a mix up with my time for my appt that I had for over a month and I was told my only option was to reschedule. After telling the receptionist who was beyond rude that I was taking my business elsewhere her response was “OK”. Lauren didn’t even have the courtesy to pick up the phone, text or anything to explain or see what we could do to make things better. I would not recommend this location and I definitely would not recommend Lauren.
