Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI have red, curly, long, thick, poorly behaved hair and when I walk into a salon, stylists tend to become disgruntled. However, at Salon 3 East, I had the opposite experience. Everyone was so nice. I was about ten minutes late (called to let them know) and when I got there they were totally accommodating. My stylist was Judy – EVERYONE SHOULD MEET JUDY, she was knowledgeable, calm, confident and an all around interesting human. The person who washed my hair was kind and helpful (I forgot her name but she is a champion of customer service), and the ladies at the front desk were so sweet. Ok I’m sure you are thinking – they are nice but are they talented? YES! Judy did a stellar job blowing out my kinky curls into mythical mermaid waves. I received so many compliments on my hair that evening. I have red, curly, long, thick, poorly behaved hair and when I walk into a salon, stylists tend to become disgruntled. However, at Salon 3 East, I had the opposite experience. Everyone was so nice. I was about ten minutes late (called to let them know) and when I got there they were totally accommodating. I went here for first time (11/2020) when I was visiting pa and had the best experience with my blond hair highlights and cut. I have gone to a top tier very expensive salon in San Francisco for many years so was anxious about this new suburban salon and they were so wonderful on all levels including the color and cut I received by a young talented and personable gal Stephanie but my mom goes to Frieda and says everyone is great!

I have always gotten compliments on my color even when I go a bit too long!! The owners Dorothy and Frieda take great care of their staff and customers!!!Service: Hairstyling
