The hairstylist I used Elizabeth gave me a great cut & color but when I showed up for my next appointment was leaving to go out of town & did not notify me. I called multiple times & even went by to set up an appointment & she never called me back. The other stylists told me “she is very forgetful.” I have found another stylist who actually calls you back & sets up appointments.

Salon 28 offers a variety of personal beauty services at reasonable prices. The salon houses a separate waxing room, four stylist stations, two dryers, and two sinks. It’s a busy place and these stylists are always in high demand so make call and make your appointment at least one week in advance. For the best cut and color, ask for Katie. She is amazing! Hilary has cut my hair for years, even before she opened this adorable salon. Even though she’s the one who does my hair, all the girls there seem very sweet and like they know what they are doing. You never hear them gossiping about customers, even the ones who seem pretty high maintenance to me. That shows a lot of class. The prices are good, and they make you feel welcome and special!

I went in for a balayage and Katie did such an amazing job, I absolutely love my hair! On top of it, the environment was incredibly welcoming and relaxing. I will definitely be coming back. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!

Please be aware of this salon. One of the girls there “Shilpy” did a color change for my wife and it was really very bad. They charged us $85 to highlight the whole hair, but she did just the middle and the bottom portions of it and she didn’t do anything to the top part. When I called her to fix the problem, she told me to come in the following day but when I called again to confirm this, she put me in hold and told me that there will be an extra $65 charge for the top portion. In short, these guys are cheaters and they just want to take your money without offering you the services you want. They want to save in materials at the expense of your convenience and satisfaction. PLEASE MAKE SURE to avoid this salon as there are other salons in the area offering much much better customer service and practicing more professionalism in dealing with people.
