I had a wonderful experience. My hair came out beautiful. I really appreciated having the Groupon because I know they are pretty much working for free and many people use Groupons to get as much free service that they can with no intention of ever going back. It is an awful deal for the small business, so I try to tip very well and I will go back when my roots need coloring again. They also have reasonable prices without Groupon. Rents are so high in Saint James.

Awesome experience !!! Awesome pricing for the Keratin straightening ! You may pay over 400$ at a local salon. Salo. 230 does it for less then 200$ ! They do an amazing job. Someone that has been to MANY different places and Salons the keratin something I would only let Gina do in my hair 🙂 . My hair I’d INCREDIY FRIZZY AND CURLY! After the Keratin I take a shower brush my hair and I’m out the door. My hair air dries and looks as if I took a wand to it. Its beautiful, the perfect wave with NO frizz! Softer and shinier then you could ever imagine !!

Considering the COVID, I required no blowout to reduce indoor time, just asked hair wash and cut.Upon I arrived, I showed several pictures of models I downloaded from websites. I also showed the one I most wanted to her. Gina quickly got it and discussed details with me like “do you want the hair to cover you ear?” “do you want to blowout your hair every morning?” Those question showed she was not only trying to make a good haircut for me today, but also trying to find a easy way for me to maintain it in the future! So nice! When I required her make my thick hair thinner, Gina gave me opinions and reasons why she thought I didn’t need to, very professional. And she was right. Even WITHOUT A BLOWOUT, my hair turned out almost the same as the picture I showed to her because Gina designed good layers and used my hair’s volume wisely. The scissors in her hand was just like a magic stick and I was totally surprised.Thanks Gina and you made my day!Oh, forgot to mention, the price is very friendly! I bought a Groupon for single process color haircut and glaze. Wanted a simple medium to dark brown but instead got an orange coppery color on the top and a little darker on the bottom and they didn’t do the glaze. Haircut was fine and the women were nice but will never ho back. Hairstyling

I came for the first time with a Groupon for hilites, Shannon was my hairdresser. She was very sweet and attentive. She took time to listen to what I wanted. I was there for a great length of time, as she also tried to give me a great haircut and frame my face, and then blow out my hair as well. Unfortunately I have been experiencing very frizzy and dry hair. I have been back now twice and they are very helpful and accommodating with giving me product to help and styling techniques as well. I’m still unsure if this result was just due to the extremely humid weather we’ve been experiencing or the chemicals were just to harsh on my hair. The last time I came in the owner Gina even gave me a slight trim to try to see if I’d get better results. So far, it does seem a bit more manageable. They definitely stand by their work which is admirable.

This was my first time at Pat’s Place Hair Salon. A friend got me a gift certificate so I figured I’d use it. Well, I was so surprised! The location is easy to find. The exterior is nice with ample parking. The interior is truly lovely…clean, open, airy, bright with lots of windows and eye-catching decor. Best of all was the stylist my friend recommended, Joanne. She was amazing! After a very nice shampoo (shampoo woman was very pleasant and gentle which isn’t always the case in other salons), Joanne helped me pick a new style, cutting off several inches of hair. She showed me how to use the products and how to style it myself. The cut she chose was not only stylish but she told me what to do if I want to let it dry naturally and allow my natural curls/ringlets to form. I was walking on air as I left.

Staff were completely unprofessional. I wanted my hair a pastel pink. I asked if they had swatches I could look at to pick from. She said yes and then brought out a mixed bowl of a dark fuchsia color that they said would do what I wanted. I did not like it at all and the color completely washed out after 1 shower. I called to complain and they told me it must have been my fault and there was nothing they could do. Will never go back.
